It does a great job!!!!
Hello Shark. I am taking a break from using my new CarpetXpert Hair Pro with Stain Striker. I am kinda old and old people need a break. YOU GUYS have hit a GRAND SLAM with this machine. I am using it in a bedroom that has been neglected.
The suction is AWESOME!! I know others have mentioned the smaller dirty water tank. I will change it more often to have great results like I am getting. It is picking up dirt and cat hair that was missed by two other machines. Assembly was easy and the tanks are easy to fill and maintain. It is easy to control and not too heavy. Also love the 5 year warranty.
Took me a few minutes to get used to the two different modes between Deep Clean and suction only. Have not used the hose and different tools yet but that is coming.
I am glad I took the plunge and bought this thing. If anyone else is in the market, at least check this machine out. I cant imagine being disappointed.

Holy grail carpet cleaner!
We bought this vacuum a couple of months ago and after using it a handful of times I can write a review on it! Hands down this is the best carpet cleaner we have ever owned. It has made our living room rug look new and our bedroom carpet brand new when we built our custom home. The only con is having to dump out the water very often because of how small the tank is but other than that 10/10 carpet cleaner. You will get a bang for your buck! If you have kids or pets that leave a mess, this works magic!

I’ve had this carpet cleaner for just about a year now, and it has truly been a lifesaver. Between a dog with frequent stomach issues and a 17-year-old cat who isn’t exactly cooperative, I deal with more messes than I’d like.
This is my first carpet cleaner, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but I have borrowed others in the past that were far too bulky or complicated to use regularly. This machine, however, is incredibly user-friendly—lightweight, easy to maneuver, simple to take apart, clean, and reassemble. It makes tackling pet messes so much faster and less stressful.
I primarily use the stain-striker feature, but I’ve also tried the full vacuum mode and it works very well. I’ve removed stains I thought were permanent and eliminated cat urine odors that no online “miracle remedy” could touch. For ease of use and effectiveness, this has honestly been one of my favorite purchases ever, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
My only complaint is that I wish the suction were a little stronger. It also struggles with tougher jobs—like my beige ottoman that my dog has claimed—but for everyday stains and odors, it’s fantastic.
Overall, if you have pets and want something that’s easy to use, this is absolutely worth it.

I LOVE my Shark
I have 3 Great Danes. One is elderly and leaks when she sleeps, and another has birth defects the leave her with limited bowel and bladder control. Needless to say, I have to clean my carpets A LOT. I have used other less expensive carpet cleaners. They all required more time and labor with barely satisfactory results. I decided to spend exta on a Shark carpet cleaner. I am glad I did. Not only has my Shark removed the stains left by other brands, but it is easier to use and MUCH easier to clean than any other carpet cleaner that I have used. It has also cut my carpet shampooing time by more than half.

this has been the best carpet cleaner I have ever bought. I am upset that I didn't switch to shark sooner. I have no problem with cleaning the carpets now. it is so easy to use and to clean out. we used to clean about twice a year cause it was a hassle. now we have no problem with pulling out the cleaner and getting the floors done quick. and the quick dry makes it so easy to clean up before guests arrive.

Strong, well made, but small dirty tank amount
I just received and used the carpetxpert and I love it. It does an awesome job of cleaning.
You can't spray the cleaner yourself, it sprays going forward and sucks it up in reverse.
Normally I wouldn't like that but I kind of do now. It's easy.
I have used the Bissell Proheat for several years and I like this shark better.
One thing I don't like is short cleaning time since the dirty tank only holds a small amount. I did figure out though that I was going too slow forward, so it's just a little learning curve there.
I had to empty several times and I'm not a big fan of that part but it does such a good job that I'll be ok with it.
I wouldn't recommend for people that clean other people's houses, you'll just be emptying and filling a lot.
I also have a new Hoover XL and it does a fabulous job also and the tanks are huge and I love that. Definitely don't have to fill and empty until you finish a lot of floor.
This shark even sucks up carpet fibers. Not sure if that's good or bad lol. I wouldn't use it on expensive rugs, but it says that right in the manual.
All in all I'm very happy with it and the solution that came with it.
The non-removable hair filter is a little annoying, but I just broke off a bra hanger to work it out. I'll be looking for a little brush of some sort to clean it out. It's very easy to empty the dirty tank though.

Hands down Best carpet cleaner for pet owners!
I've owned the carpet cleaner for 3 months and never been so happy with this purchase. In the past I have purchased the top of the line Bissell which usually last about 5 years. I decided to check what else was out there and landed on the Shark hair pro. I have seen other reviews complain about the smaller water tank. The first time I used I was a bit annoyed myself. I quickly got over it. I honestly was maybe 2 extra times I had to empty. I quickly realized it was mostly due to the suction power which really helped clean my carpets and get all the dirty water out. This was really nice because it helped with the carpet drying faster and not leaving wet pet water to smell behind. I use to spend so much extra time trying to get all the water out with the Bissel. This also had a dry feature which I found a nice bonus feature. The smaller tank makes this lighter and more maneuverable. I have a bad
shoulder on my dominant arm. I use to have to rotate
to my non-dominant side which was annoying
because I didn't feel right and I would get tangled on
the cord. Speaking of the power cord. It's a nice length
and didn't have to change outlets in my master
bedroom. I have used the stain strike tools and wow! The suction is just as amazing and its easy to use with being on the vacuum. No havimg to get the extra tubing out! I love the self cleaning feature too! I'm glad I went with the animal hair pro especially with the insane suction. The nasty icky hair it pulled up was disgusting and couldn't believe in my carpets. I own a Dyson animal ball pro vacuum and thought it was getting the embedded hair (I have 2 dogs and 4 cats.) Nope. I wish I had gone with the Shark upright and cordless when I was debating new vacuums last year. My new big dog has lightweight hair that made it harder to get with my Bissell animal one. I spent a pretty penny on the Dyson and I guess need to wait for these to give out. I'm hooked and know I will be loyal to this brand for all new purchases.

I am a housekeeper at an apartment home, and I had my boss order me this shampooer because all the ones we recently purchased crapped out on me. I did not have high hopes for this one. I was willing to try. I will gladly say I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best investment I could ever think to try. I absolutely love this shampooer!!!! It works like no other. Leaves the apartments smelling so fresh and so clean. It keeps up with the high demand (usage) of apartment turnovers. It is so easy to clean after each use unlike all of the other shampooers where you have to take screws out of. With this one you do not!!! Thank you for creating such an amazing product!!!

I had a few spots that my “creative “ child made…..commercial cleanings made the spots disappear, but always came back! As of today the Shark has made the spots disappear for good. I recently gave my stamp of approval, to a potential customer at my local department store. You can’t go wrong with a Shark product….my new bestie!

good buy!
Got this recently and ran it for the first time the other day. Great machine, easy to use. Have 2 dogs and 2 cats and even though my Stratos gets most of the hair, the HairPro found more. The hair cage on this worked perfectly and the ability to switch easily from floor to spot to furniture was great.
When done, it was very easy to clean out all areas to make sure I am ready to go next week on the next rug.

GET IT IF YOU HAVE KIDS OR PETS THAT THROW UP
I purchased this and thank god I did. My bf made fun of me for buying this when he had a Rainbow system. But when his daughter threw up all over the floor, the Shark was so quick to grab from the closet and sucked up all the chunky bits and pieces and left the carpet smelling great. And it was super easy for my daughter to clean the brush as it pops out. The self washing option is awesome as well for flushing the tube! I only wish it worked for all of the attachments not just one but its okay.

Amazing ability and easy to use.
This is not my first shark product. This cleaner is beyond amazing. It cleans stains that were left by my previous cleaner. I spent more money on this one but so worth it. Its cleaning ability and ease of usage is absolutely amazing. It uses a lot less chemicals also not only saving you money but better for the environment.

Quick, easy and works!
Love my Shark CarpetXpert HairPro! Got it today and went straight to testing. My son threw up on his carpet and it left a stain. Done in less than an hour, took the stains out! Collected sooooo much pet hair my vacuum missed. Tester spot was a small low traffic bedroom area and it pulled dirrrrty water!

Turns like a traditional vacuum cleans like crazy
I have been through a few different carpet cleaners and I thought my carpets were pretty clean. This is my favorite one ever and I appreciate the long warranty. Best feature on this is the rinsing and ease in cleaning the head so it doesn’t stink after using. 10/10 the attachments are extremely well thought out and if it’s anything like all my other shark products it’s going to run like the day I bought it for years. Very very happy I purchased may be my new favorite cleaning tool

Great suction and stain removing
I bought this about a month ago and I absolutely love it. I cannot believe how clean my carpet got after using this. Very easy to use. I really like the dry feature only once you are done shampooing. 2 passes is all u need to appropriately saturate the carpet and get the dirt out. Very easy to clean up when finished. I always make sure my carpet is well vacuumed before I use the shampooer. I also have stairs and the stain striker is nice to have and all the right heads to do the job, even a crevice tool get in corners. Only things negative I could say is the the tank runs out of water quick so u do have to refill going through more cleaning solution and dump old water, besides that the carpet is clean and honestly it wasn’t that big of a deal to refill the tank maybe 3 times to do a whole standard size living room, hallway and bedroom, also depends on how much u saturate the carpet. Would I buy this again, absolutely! Besides shark has the absolute best customer care and every cleaning product in my house is shark.

Best Carpet Cleaner for home use EVER1
I was quite pleased with the CarpetXpert carpet cleaner. It did a FANTASTIC job. My only complaint is that the ON button...and the DRY button are NOT in a convenient place and should be moved if possible when the design is update.

Amazing Versatile Carpet Cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark’s CarpetXpert is by far the best carpet cleaner I’ve ever used. It’s superior to any other carpet cleaner. I love that it is a two in one cleaner, a carpet cleaner and a spot/stain eliminator. It alleviates having to have multiple cleaning units. The carpet cleaner has great suction and powerful cleaning capabilities. The scent of the cleaning solution is fresh and clean. I used to clean my area rugs every week with another competitor and used the CarpetXpert to see how much cleaner they would come out. In my picture it shows the left side of the carpet cleaned with the CarpetXpert and the right side cleaned with the competitor. I couldn’t believe how much whiter and cleaner my carpet came out and how dirty the water tank was after. The tank is so easy to pull out, dump, and place right back into the cleaner. It was eye opening how much of a deep clean the Shark was able to do. The spot and stain eliminator has multiple attachments to pick from depending on what type of stain or spot needs cleaning. The two solutions (drop clean carpet solution and oxy stain solution) combine to easily remove stains and spots. The pet attachment is great for odors and pet messes. I love that the attachment keeps the pet mess separate from the hose so you don’t have worry about that being stuck in the hose causing smells. The self cleaning function is a game changer. I don’t mind pulling this out for a quick little stain since clean up after is so easy! Both cleaning operations dry fairly quickly. Overall, I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a deeper clean with multiple uses all in one system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stain striker is a top of the line at cleaning pet stains all the way to restaurant grease gunk. Easy to carry with a carry handle attached. Comfortable handle for vacuuming for long duration. The cleaners that this comes with ensures you will no longer smell any bad odor. Depending on how dirty the spot is that you’re trying to clean you may have to empty and fill up the containers quite quick but apart from that this a great product and I know I will be using it all over my house. If there is a issue there are multiple indications of what it could be with 2 blinking lights and a key for those lights right above it.
