So far so great
So far, only owned for little over a month, it’s excellent in all I’ve used it for. Replaced a 2 yr old Panasonic that died from a very common and oft reported problem almost examined the warranty anniversary. Wont touch that brand again and it wasn’t cheap

Fast shipping ,looks good on my counter, works great plenty of room,nice size. The only thing that I would change is the numbers they’re hard to see.This is my third one and the last one I bought lasted 11 years without any problems. Thanks for a quality product .

Sharp is the ONLY brand of Electronics I use! They are reliable & last WAY LONGER than ANY OTHER brand!! I have purchased the exact same Microwave 3 times & Sharp TV 3 times. I have other Sharp Products that shpukd have died MANY YEARS AGO but they're still going strong! DO NIT HESITATE TO BUY ANYTHING SHARP; ESPECIALLY MICROWAVES & TELEVISIONS!! This microwave works well in cooking. Comparing it to the GE microwave I had, you can tell the structure is cheaply made. It is very loud when closing the door or just resting anything on the turntable.

I have had Sharp microwaves for years and have always had good experiences. When my last one died I wanted nothing but another Sharp. However, this microwave has been a disappointment. Instructions are vague and basically no help. When defrosting meat as instructed there was a large round area on the bottom that was cooked. My last one had modes for defrosting meat, fish, poultry, even breads. This one seems to cook too hot and it is the same wattage as my last one. New is not always better.

Don't really like this Microwave. The Popcorn button does not work correctly, in my opinion, it leaves really to many Colonel's unpopped. I wanted a 1200 w but I couldn't find a smaller size. This is way to big.

Q&A
I need to replace my R530ES-T over the oven and it has trim. What’s the current Model that would fit?
I replaced an old R series microwave with a SMC2266HS. It was also installed as a built in above an oven. The old trim fits perfectly, however, the support structure under the microwave required modification. One support member had to be moved and new holes were required to accept the feet. Note also that the old hole in the cabinet is much larger than the new microwave requires. This means the new surround is too small to cover the old hole.
