The magnetron gave it up this Friday:-) As we use the microwave daily a new one was ordered the same day and was delivered the next day. I am 76 yrs old and recovering from a bone marrow transplant but I uninstalled the old one and installed the new one easily. 4 screws and a 3 prong plug and play.. looking forward to another 10 years of worry free microwaving:-)

It’s so convenient and much safer than using a MW over the stove. That is such poor design. Especially for us seniors. I’ve used the MW for typical things - popcorn, heating leftovers, cooking vegetables, and heating bread. The time is spot on, and the quality of food very good. I highly recommend the Sharp under the counter microwave!

We have a 30 inch sharp microwave that we want to replace with a new 30 inch sharp microwave but we don't like the pull open control panel on the new sharp microwave. We like the push to open control panel on the 24 inch sharp microwave.

Is there a suitable mat or furniture slider that can be placed underneath this unit? To point is to avoid marring the cabinet drawer. This unit is heavy.

What is the minimum size opening you need to fit this microwave?

We bought a 24” microwave cabinet when we bought our new cabinets. We should have ordered a 27” cabinet. We had to cut the sides wider to install it was a pain in the but. The manual says 24” cabinet and it should say 27. It looks great tho
