Sleek design
What I like about the design of the microwave is the hidden control panel. Another feature I use frequently is the sensor reheating feature. Very pleased with this product.

This is my 2nd one
I had my last one for almost 23 years until the door wouldn't open up. It's the most dependable brand that's worth the money. That's why I got the same Sharp carousel. First one was black and this is stainless steel. Love it!

I never thought Microwaves could look so sexy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwaves are typically boring and no one ever takes advtangae of all the features even those that have been around forever. However, this one is amongst a long list that makes you appreciate the style and feel like you can do more with the microwave than simply inputting the cooking time. There are many meals and ways to make meals rather than just heat and go.

Works well with a few issues.
The microwave seems to work well. The controls are somewhat counterintuitive. Unfortunately the setting buttons are inside the door that renders its operation somewhat confusing. The labels for the light, fan and start buttons are close to close to the operations above the operations rather contagious to them. Fingerprints are an issue as well. The range light is somewhat dim. I’ll check out if it will take a LED bulb.
Finding a top-vented microwave that fits in my space was difficult so I am grateful for this option.

Solid piece of equipment
I’m pleased with the function of the microwave- the last sharp carousel I owned lasted 20 years. Hope to have the same result with this item. The “hidden” keypad is a bit inconvenient. Prefer the standard exposed keypad. Sensor function works well. Wish it had WiFi capability so it could be monitored remotely.

I was reading reviews on PC Richards and to the negative ones, you said you were interested in feedback. So here's mine.
We've generally been happy with this model, but now have to replace it. We've had this appliance for 12 years! A few years ago the push-button started to flyoff whenever we pushed it. We finally replaced that button this year and then the start button stuck. Nothing happens when you press it. Our handyman said to replace the machine. An appliance repair expert costs almost as much as a new one, so I think he's right. We're going shopping for one starting today. We're planning to buy this model again.

Sleek looking without cooking size restrictions
I love the sleek look of this microwave without being the size of the low profile microwaves. The one drawback is the setting requests are inside the door. I still shut the door & have to reopen to set my food time or defrost, etc. That is the only feature I am not crazy about on this appliance. Otherwise, I am happy with how it works & the performance.

Great Microwave, loud exhaust fan
We love this microwave. My only disappointment was that the fan only has two speeds: Fast, and Almost as Fast. The fan button says Fan Hi/Lo, and when pressed, the display says H and runs very loudly. When pressed again, it still says H, and the fan slows down just barely. I confirmed this is how it is designed. It does not change to L. So, love it, but don't expect to have a fan you can run in a quiet, slow speed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately we need a microwave with a 99 degree door because it will be between two cabinets. It costed a bit more than the one we had bought but I’m liking how the buttons are hidden. The only thing I wish is that it’s fingerprint resistant.

Sharp microwave
Within the first year, the push handle fell off, and after 5 years it needed replacement because the start button got jammed. We got the same one because of ease of fit and we like the look.

Save your money.
I purchased this microwave a year and a 1/2 ago, and it died it works. But does not heat the food, i would buy a different manufacturer.

Unbelievable
Tried to get a part for my microwave. Sent schematic and part number, I was told I have to have a tecnician call. This was for a small screw for the light bulb cover.

R1514 Poor Design & Build
Cheaply made. Door is light in weight. Controls inside door take getting use to. Just setting a kitchen time takes 3 presses not counting adding time. Really? No confidence it will last beyond 5 years, which may be the plan.
