I often have to bring my laptop home from work and this makes transportation a breeze and I know that my corporate device is secured and safe. There are so many compartments also if I need to travel back and forth to meetings to hold things like pens, notebooks, cell phone, etc. I also love the fact that you can carry this as over the should, or as a backpack depending on what's most convenient for you. It's stylish and functional!! Definitely recommend for corporate gals and guys.

Comfortable to wear and versatile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve gone through a lot of work bags over the years, but the Solo New York Duane Hybrid might be the first one I’ve actually wanted to keep using. It’s low-key stylish, doesn’t scream “tech bag,” and the fact that it switches between a briefcase, backpack, and messenger style is way more useful than I expected. My laptop fits snugly in the padded sleeve, and there’s a spot for my iPad too, which is perfect when I’m bouncing between meetings or working from a coffee shop. The front organizer keeps my pens, charger, and random essentials from floating around, and I really like how quick it is to grab my phone or keys from the smaller pockets. The padded handles are comfortable, and the magnetic snaps are one of those little things you don’t think about until you have them. It’s just a solid bag that makes my day a little easier without trying too hard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solo New York Duane Hybrid Briefcase is very durable. It's comfortable as a backpack and carrying it is very comfortable. I like that it's very versatile . You can carry it on your back like a backpack. You can put the strap around your arm and use it like a messenger bag. And it can be carried like a brief case. It has padded compartments for your laptop or your tablet.
The straps are removable and adjustable. There's a large front pocket with an organizer. With 2 front quick access pockets.
Padded carrying handles with magnetic snaps.
This is a very good bag. Made very well and sturdy.

Versatile hybrid bag

I’ve never had a briefcase before- I’m more of a backpack girlie, but I like the idea and it seems more professional than a backpack, albeit less comfortable. Having this hybrid bag means I can go in backpack mode for longer trips, while having a quick briefcase to sling over a shoulder when in the office or not walking too far. There’s a large
padded laptop sleeve, as well as a tablet sleeve next to it, and a lot of room in the main compartment. The smaller pockets seem great for accessories and pens, etc, but it’s a bit odd how they’re positioned in both forms (since backpack/briefcase are different orientations), but I think it works. I like how the backpack straps get hidden in the back panel for easy use when needed. The grey material looks nice and professional, and zippers feel heavy and durable.

Great multi use briefcase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Solo New York Duane Hyrbid Briefcase is a good quality multipurpose bag. It has soft sides and lots of compartments. The zippers are good quality and zip smoothly. I like all the compartments on the outside and inside. There’s plenty of room inside for laptop, iPad and papers, plus you can use the outside pockets for wires and chargers.
One of my favorite features is that you can use it as a traditional briefcase, carrying it by the handles, use the strap and use it like a messenger bag, or use the straps and carry it like a backpack.
My teenager has his eye on this as it’s an improvement on the regular backpack’s he’s been using to carry all his electronics in.

Best Backpack Ever
I happened to buy this combo backpack in a store and it has served me well for 7 years or more. I have had it stuffed full of heavy things the entire time. It has traveled from USA to Mexico to India. It is my daily usage case for work laptop and dozens of peripheral items. I just ordered a replacement from Solo and was delighted to find same exact model still available.

Fantastic Multi Purpose Bag
Love using this as a multi purpose bag. Heading into a meeting it easily converts into an informal briefcase. By the same hand I can use it as a backpack while wandering the streets in new cities and fill it with souveniers or essentials. Looking to pair it with a backpack. Will post that as well. Can't really go wrong with this one. Well built, plenty of compartments and multi purpose. It's a win.

Very Versatile and Practical carry case.
I just replaced my old Asus computer with a new one and wanted to protect it when I needed to be on the go. I was surprised with how many pockets and sleeves there are and 3 different ways to carry it makes it very versatile. The only suggestion would be to have a bit more padding on the outside layer protecting the laptop. Otherwise A+

Perfect for travel

Grey Duane. AWESOME BAG
I’ve had this bag for 10 years now and it still looks new. A pocket for everything, yet it’s not bulky. Made its way all the way to Aus :u1F1E6::u1F1FA:. I recommend it to anyone who asks for a laptop bag. Someone I know uses it for her microphones and equipment when she does singing gigs. So versatile

5 years of use and it's still as new
I got it as a gift from a relative a long time ago, about 4-5 years, not sure, and I've been using it a lot since then. It is as new, nothing worn out, it has no scratches, I am also a guy so I don't necessarily take care of it too well. I will probably continue to use it for a very long time. Washed it in the washing machine a few times, comes out clean, I just need to make sure that I air all compartments so they can dry, many are waterproof and the water can't get out. I am surprised by how well it lasts, I've had many backpacks and couldn't use them for more than 2 years because they started to look like garbage.

Excellent Bag!
I’ve had this bag pre-pandemic and it continues to serve me well. Just enough compartment, semi-slim profile and long wearing. I use the backpack straps mostly. I recommend this to anyone who needs a convertible laptop bag.

The zipper was a big concern — I hate wrestling with zippers — and all the zippers on this bag run smoothly. The design and size of the bag are optimal. The material is sturdy and it is easy to pack everything I need for the workday.

Awesome pack for all your stuff
I have used one of these bags for years until I broke the main zipper from overstuffing it too many times. I now have a new one and can carry on as usual. This bag is great with all the zippered compartments. It allows you to carry a lot of stuff in a more organized fashion without having a jumbled mess where you have dig through everything to find that one small item that invariably finds its way to the bottom. I don't use it as a backpack, but if that's your thing, then I'm sure it would serve you well.
