Never going back!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never had a large soundbar like this before, but I LOVE it! It provides a surround sound experience without having speakers need to be placed around the room and it’s compact but still is aesthetically pleasing so it will have a great spot on my mantle. It connected seamlessly to my TV and phone and I’m very excited to keep using it for both music and watching TV.

Great for at home theater experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony audio devices are no doubt one of the best in the market. From headphones to speakers and soundbar, Sony is consistent in producing devices with impressive sound quality. I tested this Bravia Theater Bar through the Dolby Atmos sound test via Youtube and it felt like I was in a movie theater! It passed the surround sound as well as clearly identifying the moving audio.
This sound bar boasts a cinema-style surround sound with 360 spatial sound mapping and it’s absolutely true based based on my personal experience. It has 13 speakers units which definitely helped deliver a crisp and clear sound with powerful bass. The app was okay, didn’t really use it much after downloading it, maybe only once and that was it. But, if you’re the type of person who loves to customize audio settings then you would definitely often use the app. I like how you can easily connect devices through this sound bar, I can play spotify music through my phone and I love the sound quality experience.
Highly recommend and so thankful for influenster for giving me a chance to try this amazing sound bar from Sony!

Perfect home theatre

Exceptional quality and simple setup

Not sure on placement if your tv is not wall mounted- you may need a slightly longer cord to be able to place separately from tv. Overall a great product for my smaller space

Amazing sound!

Best Sounding Sound Bar to Date
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Bravia Theater Bar 9 has the highest quality sound from a sound bar that I have ever heard. It has 13 speakers with a 360 Spatial Sound Mapping that creates a full surround in a room from just the sound bar. It also has Dolby Atmos and DTS: X for even more enhanced audio. Installation is easy by using the included HDMI cable and power adapter. The remote is simple to use with a volume up and down, bass and sound enhancements. To really get the most out of the Theater Bar 9 I had to download the Bravia app and connect it to the sound bar this is where you can refine the sound even more.
Overall the Sony Bravia Theater Bar 9 has exceeded my expectations and has provided the best sounding experience I’ve had when I watch a movie or listen to music. To get the ultimate sound I would need to get a Sony subwoofer but as a stand alone device this works great.

Pricey but works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV is older so this really saved the sound on it. Sometimes it goes in and out and it’s completely cured with the sound bar. The price is a little crazy for what this is so I probably wouldn’t buy it myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sounds is amazing. You have to use the app to help you install it. When setting up you can use your blue tooth to listen to things I use my phone and play music through Spotify when cleaning up around my home or in a get together. It’s a great addition to our house hold. I would definitely recommend it’s great to have when watching movies with friends or family the depth is amazing.

Its sleek design makes it so it doesn’t look bulky where I put. It’s pricey but so are other sound systems and this one feels worth the splurge.

Great soundbar with high quality sounds for both music and movies

The connectivity takes sometime to link with the tv but easy setup and everything once identified the correct HDMI arc then it’s a piece of cake. The remote control is small and easy to put in pocket and convenience

Usually the highest volume setting on my TV hurts my head and ears. I put this on the highest setting, and could hear the bass so clearly. The sound was very crisp and clear, without ever hurting my eardrums. I never realized how amazing these products are until I actually tried and compared the sounds they emit. Super happy with my product

All I can say is WOW
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! I have owned a few other soundbars and the Sony Bravia Theater 9 blows them all away! Even just from the sound test I was in awe. It was very easy to set up and I love how sturdy it is. You can really tell the high quality of this speaker because the audio sounds like it is coming from different areas of the room. Movie night just got a major upgrade! I highly recommend!

My boyfriend has always wanted a sound bar but I have been hesitant to get one because I thought they weren’t really worth it. After using this sound bar my thoughts have changed completely! The sound experience this provides is SO much better than a normal TV sound quality. It truly feels like we are watching our shows and movies in a theater!! This has enhanced our movie watching experience significantly! I would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of getting a sound bar! 5 stars!

Beautiful sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality of this speaker is great so far. I’m relieved it has voice mode so that I can balance the shows that have loud music and quiet talking. My only gripe is that the instruction manual is really sparse. The QR code on it just takes you to download an app. Then the app was really weird about creating an account and logging in. It was about a 15 minute process. But now that it’s all set up I’m satisfied with it!

The sound is incredibly clear and setting it up was surprisingly easy, and the design looks good in our living room.
One of my favorite things is how versatile it is with Bluetooth and all the different sound mode, it’s like having a mini-theater at home.
However, there is one odd quirk: you need to have your location services on to connect to the app, which feels a bit unnecessary. But honestly, that's a small gripe compared to the overall experience. If you're on the hunt for a soundbar that takes your home theater to the next level, the Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 9 is a fantastic choice!

Great for movie night!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster to try! I placed it with our tv in the living room and it fits perfectly above our fireplace. It comes with wall mounts or feets for the bottom. We will most likely purchase a mount to attach to our tv instead in the future. The sound is great in our small living room and you can adjust the bass as well. It turns on and off with our tv which is very convenient. Great for family movie night!

Disappointing!
I was very excited about this sound bar, however, I was very disappointed with the quality of the sound. I have a Bravia TV so setting up the bar to the subwoofer was very easy to do. Singing this is what is the top-of-the-line Sony sound bar? I thought I was going to be blown away by the sound, but I ended up being disappointed voices were muddled, and the projection of the sound was moderate at best I compared the Sound bar to two other top-of-the-line sound bars, and I decided to return the Sony Bravia 9 sound bar.

Good but could be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty sure that there are better sound systems out there. We can hardly tell if the sound is coming from the TV speaker or the Sony BRAVIA Bar. There is no difference. We try to change the bass and the sound field/night mode, but it’s still not much of a difference. The remote control stopped working after two weeks (we added brand new batteries in). Before the remote control went bad, there was no telling that the remote is doing what we’re pressing. Nothing is showing up on the screen to indicate the volume has gone up or down. If we press any of the other options, the sound would pause (cut off) and then come back. We took that as an indication that the remote is doing what we wanted to do. But, again, the remote does not work anymore and I uploaded the BRAVIA app to use instead of the remote. Sometimes, the sound bar won’t connect to my phone and I have to keep retrying until it connects. The plus thing is we can control the volume using the TV’s remote control, but we can’t use any of the other options.
It’s also important to note that i installation steps weren’t easy to follow. I ended up looking up the steps online to understand the parts and how they work.
