Almost as resilient as pre-planned obsolescence
The dual alarm version of this alarm clock has lasted me ten years, I am so used to its alarm that while searching for a replacement i was dissatisfied. I am buying another; love the ascending alarm volume and simplicity. Maybe one day they will bring back the dual alarm version.

Small but powerful for what you need...
This clock is worth every penny since this has all of the options you need from left to right, top to bottom. I will also note that this clock has a dimm option for if which you can turn up or down the brightness on the soft orange glow of the LED display. This clock also is AC current so no boxy power adapters that are needed for DC. This clock also has a AM/FM band on the radio and has a soft alarm that will get louder and louder as time gets. The clock also has a daylight savinng buttom that has a 1hr reset for each time a daylights saving day comes that should be banned since tractors at once have headlights. This also has a option for the time zone you were in - which is already ready from the factory. This clock is awesome and everyone needs one including you!!! 👍👍👍

My only complaint was the lithium battery holder is difficult to remove. I have a to use a pair of needle nose pliers

Great for the Price
My old Bose radio died and I wanted a radio with the buttons on top. This fits the bill. The only disadvantage, for me, is the volume control is on the side. For the price it is great and doesn't take up much room.

Perfect
Sony has always impressed me. They make great products for everyone. This radio alarm clock is great for my needs. I needed an alarm clock that was reliable, it doesn't get more reliable than Sony. I like the built in FM radio which makes for a nice sound when waking up instead of an old fashioned buzzer, but that is an option if you prefer. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Easy to use
Have had this clock for about 6 months and it is great. Keeps accurate time, adjusts to current DST automatically, and has an easy to read orange display. Priced similarly to competing models that don't have a radio. Really a quality product that has better features than anything in its class.

Another Good Sony Product
I needed a reliable clock radio and have always been happy with Sony products. This is still true. I like the automatic time set. The sound and reception is really good and the light is good enough to see but not so bright that it lights up the bedroom. Its a good buy.

Simple yet effective!
This alarm clock is the definition of simple but effective! I've got a habit of hitting snooze on my smart phone as I wake up. But this alarm clock helps me get out of bed on time! The large LED screen is easily readable from afar and it's bright enough to see! I put this at the opposite end of my room so that when the alarm goes off it makes me get out of bed quickly! Even when I'm not using the alarm clock time is easy to follow and sound quality is great!

Sony always reliable
I bought the Sony because I know they make quality products and this alarm clock doesn't disappoint. The LED is quite large so I can see from a good distance and the brightness is adjustable so I dim it at night which is great.

I saw it and I liked the shape. I read the Operating Innstructions and it was easy to setting the time zone, the alarm and the radio. I think that the three options to setting the brightness of the display is a very good characteristic.

The radio is crystal clear sounds for all the stations I found!I have not woke up with it yet,but I suggest you buy it yourself it is that good of a FM,and AM Alarm Clock!You'll be pleasantily impressed!I know I am.Every time I hear it.It just proves Sony stands behind their products.When they make a Sony product they make it to excel!
