Just the ticket!

Nice Sony Transistor Radio at Good Price
I had the same one before but it wasn't quite 'on point'. This new one, for whatever reason is much clearer and crisper. Anyway, it's a really nice little transistor radio.

Great AM radio!
This is a very solidly built radio. Tuning wheel and volume wheel work great. Am radio is superb, FM radio is disappointing.

Extremely poor reception.
I live just outside of a larger metropolitan area. We have a full spectrum of radio stations available. This radio receives exactly one of those many stations.

radio only works for a short period of time, then shuts off. New batteries do not solve the problem.

What size headphones can you use. Don't want earbuds. Can it be used with regular headphones?
Yes it can be used with regular headphones. It's an old fashion radio. I love it

Does this little AM/FM radio play in stereo when connected to headphones? Also I would like to know run time on 2 AA LITHIUM BATTERIES!
not sure about the lithium batteries issue, it does play in stereo when used with headphones
