Yes, this is a compressor-cooled unit to ensure proper operating temperature. At this time, we do not have a noise rating on the unit. It will make some noise due to the compressor design, but when properly installed, it should not be disruptive.

Yes, this utilizes automatic defrost so there should be no need to defrost the interior. It comes with a 5-year limited warranty for the compressor and 1-year limited warranty for parts and labor.
