Very good weed eater
Very good performance for several weeks. Works through up to 2ft high weeds fairly easily. Bought 2nd battery to swa;p out and keep going. Have several acres on steep slopes and this really does the job. Keep an extra 15ft of 0.80 inch diameter cord in my pocket. Takes about a minute to respool.

Best trimmer!

Finally a tool I can use!!!

It was easy to get set up and I love that I can just charge it and go. I had no trouble getting it strung up to use. I’m looking forward to spring to really test it out!!

Clean, easy to setup, no maintenace trimmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had put assembly of this off because I dreaded all the little pieces to go together, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it was the easiest assembly ever (2 minutes), with well thought-out, no fuss packaging. Once I charged up the battery, the thing worked great -- easy to use, plenty of power for grass and small weeds.
Make sure to read the battery care instructions, as it advises the battery cannot be submitted to freezing temperatures. It would be a costly mistake to leave the battery in an unheated garage and have to replace, so make sure to bring it inside during the colder season!

Versatile, Powerful and Impressively Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cordless string trimmer continues to impress me every time I use it. It’s surprisingly light and maneuverable, perfect for cutting hillsides and hard to reach spots. Do not let the light weight fool you; this thing is POWERFUL. It has cut down extraordinarily thick brush and weeds without a bit of hesitation, even on the low setting. The high setting will literally cut down small trees; I know this from experience! The 15-20 minutes of run time is more than sufficient for me, and I am fortunate to have a large yard to handle. The battery charges fully in less than 2 hours, but you could also buy a spare battery and easily swap them out. Being able to edge with the same tool is so convenient. I love that it is adjustable to suit every height, making it even more comfortable to handle, especially during longer jobs. Plus, you can literally fold it in half, so it takes up very little space in storage. I would recommend it to anyone, from novice to expert.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome weed trimmer, it works great to cut those pesky weeds or long grass that you cant get at with your mower. I love that it is cordless so I dont have to string an extension cord around my yard or deal with gasoline. The battery has a long life for me to get through my yard and I like how it easily can compact down for storage. I definitely see myself using this for a long time and plan to look for other Sun Joe projects to purchase.

Great trimmer!

It is chargeable so you dont have to pour gas in like my old trimmer. It charges pretty quickly and one charge allows me to trim my entire yard. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. I also love that it has a foldable shaft for easy storage or transporting. It is very well made as well. Great trimmer, highly recommended!

The trimmer itself works wonders. It was easy to trim and trimmed very well. I was able to get most done with only one pass. I like that there are different speed settings as it made it easier to be more accurate. My yard looks wonderful after and it didn't take me nearly as long as usual. I definitely recommend this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely impressed with the quality and durability of this cordless string trimmer. I am someone who usually will only purchase gas products because I always had it in my head that they were just better. However, my opinion has truly changed and I am actually in disbelief that a battery operated tool can work just as well if not better than a gas powdered one. This trimmer is amazing, although it is a little bit on the heavier side, while you are using it you really do not notice that because it balances perfectly on your arm. I like that is has a foldable shaft so its easier to carry and store. I love that you can adjust the handle to be able to fit you more comfortably, and that it has a bump feed option, so there is no hassle to have to change or constantly pull the line out while I am trimming. The battery is great, I am able to do my entire yard a couple of times before I need to charge the battery. I would definitely recommend this cordless trimmer to anyone who is in the market for a new one as you will honestly not be disappointed by this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try this type of weed eater because it doesnt require gas. Its really quite and its nice not having to buy gas for it. It only took a few hours to charge and was really powerful nice it was done charging. Its not real heavy and its easy to use and to fill the line. It has a foldable shaft so it makes storing easy. It would be great for a gift. I will use this a lot.

None can compare against the Sun Joe 24V-ST14B 24-Volt iON+ Cordless Dual-Line String Trimmer Kit.It was design with power, ease of use and durability in mind. The trimmer comes with a powerful 24V iON system that gives it much power to reach those hard to reach places. The 450 Watt brushless motor runs cooler, quieter, and stronger than conventional motors.The trimmer can cut a lot with its 14-inch cutting width. My favorite feature is that it takes only 2 hours to charge the battery. It comes with a trimmer line spool built in so all you have to do is bump the trimmer and new lines is ready to go. You can use the trimmer with your left or right hand. There are 2 speeds to the motor (High and Low). It is just as powerful as the gas-powered trimmer. The aluminum shaft makes it lightweight and can be use by anyone.

Really good product.

I was disappointed in the battery. I charged it up before using and used it in the low mode. The only other thing was the handle on the shaft was adjustable to go up and down.
All in all I would still recommend this product.

Nice trimmer, but not for short folks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like Goldilocks when it comes to string trimmers. Some are too heavy, some too long, and very very few just right. For the most part the only ones I can operate are the electric ones that I have to drag a cord behind me. I had so so hoped that this would finally be the one that cut the cord for me. At 15 lbs the weight is a little heavy, but doable, but the deal breaker is the 6ft non adjustable pole! The handle can be adjusted, but not the length of the pole. I'm 5'3" and 128 lbs, and despite being rather fit, my arms just aren't long enough or strong enough to sustain this baby for any length of time. Especially when it comes to the bump feed. Ah well, back to the cord for me.
That being said, it is a super nice trimmer and my husband loves it! I prefer to do my trimming myself because he likes to wack down flowers, but I may let him loose with this in a safe area since he likes it so much! The handle was a little tricky to get on, and I think there may have even been either a small defect, or variation from the manual, but we got it to work. I let him go to town with it on the last weedeat of the year since there isn't much he can hurt with winter getting ready to hit anyway. He said it was smooth to operate, felt good in his hands, and easy to bump to feed he string. It easily held charge long enough for him to do our 1/4 acre property. It charges super fast too...he almost drained it and it was ready to go again in less than 2 hours! I had him hit the tough weeds in my vegetable garden so I could lay leaves down for winter, and it easily took them down to the dirt and left no trace! He said he really liked that it had two settings. A lower one for regular trimming, and a higher one for the tougher areas. The more I think about it, maybe this trimmer being to big for me is a blessing, might save me some work next summer!

Too Long, Poor Balance
In using this trimmer, I find that the overall unit is too long. The placement of the handle is not adjustable which makes it more difficult for shorter people to use due to the the trimmer head being heavier. The trigger is too far behind me which puts a strain on my shoulder. This trimmer should have been designed with a telescoping pole. The trimmer seems to cut well but is uncomfortable to use for any length of time. All the other reviews I see are incentivized reviews which I feel can't be completely unbiased reviews. I was not incentivized and purchased this product at full price. I had previously tried leaving a review for this product but the review was never posted.

String Trimmer USELESS with no string
The product is fine. A little heavy, but runs well. I wanted an electric string trimmer and this worked. BUT WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY REPLACEMENT STRING??? I WAITED FOR 2 YEARS. finally returned my string trimmer (it was a lot of work to take it apart and find a box that would work. Sent it back and now I only get STORE CREDIT??? I don't want anything else.
