One of my new favorite rubs! I used it on chicken burgers,in my mixture and on top of burgers while cooking them on my Flatrock. Amazing for both smoked & roasted chickens.

Fantastic rub!

I love it
I'm so confused by all of the bad reviews. I'm new to smoking and never got to taste the old Traeger chicken rub that other reviewers are commenting about, but this rub gives my wings a PERFECT citrus, peppery flavor. I hope my many guests haven't been lying to me this whole time when they say they love the rub as well. I will continue using it on my smoked chicken products but would also like to give the "Pork & Poultry" a try next since that one has much better reviews.

Very tasty rub
Amazing flavor on chicken. Used to smoke some leg quarters and the flavor was terrific. Then tried it on thighs in the oven and wow. Great flavor.

Awesome on chicken!
Not sure what the other reviews are talking about with this being too salty or if Traeger changed the mixture.. but my girlfriend and I love this on chicken, especially on the skin. You can definitely taste the citrusy side of this rub as well. Just make sure you’re shaking/tossing the rub around before applying, the different sizes of the spices/seasonings can cause the larger spices to rise to the top.

Great Blend of Seasoning for Chicken!
I bought this a few months back since salt wasn't the first ingredient due to my family has a few folks with blood pressure issues which require less salt when cooking. I am very happy I did as most seasonings seem to have way too much salt these days. This seasoning has the right amount of everything. My entire family enjoys this seasoning on their chicken. I will be buying more.

Awesome on wings!
This citrus and black pepper Chicken Rub came with a welcome kit from the hardware store where we purchased our Traeger a few weeks ago. Used this on wings today (let marinate an hour) then cooked following a wing recipe I found on the site. I left about a 1/3 with just the rub and did the other wings with Buffalo sauce. We all thought the wings with the rub alone were delicious. The Buffalo turned out good too but we were pleasantly surprised with the bold flavor the rub gave the wings. The citrus didn’t seem overwhelming and the bits of pepper were great. There was a nice sweetness to it and we didn’t find it too salty like some previous reviews. I will use this again!

I have bought several cans of the chicken rub. The seasoning is excellent and later I use the broth to make gravy. I can't top this for flavor.

WOW, WHAT A RUB.
I really appreciate Traeger's different Rubs. I cannot imagine putting a Chicken or Cornish Hen into my NuWave Rotisserie Oven without a healthy coating of their Chicken Rub. It is fantastic.

Not sure about chicken but zucchini? Yum!
Great seasoning. I generally don’t prefer sweet on grilled chicken. It was good though. But I had some zucchini spears But I brushed with extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with a little garlic salt. I coated them liberally with this chicken rub and then grilled them until I got grill marks. Wow! so crunchy and sweet and spicy!

Flavor the bird
While I mix many of my rubs for meats this is a great one for Chicken. I also have and use the Pork and Poultry mix and I alternate between it and using this Chicken on. Easy to use and really flavors the meat. Like other Traeger spices you can really use this on just about anything you want, it's another Traeger winner, and I use a lot of them.

My Favorite!
Love this rub! It has the right amount of sweet and citrus. Definitely wasn’t expecting it to be this good. I use to only use the pork and poultry rub but this is a game changer. I used this rub for my first try at making competition style chicken thighs. It was a hit!

Chicken rub on a turkey???
Thought I would try this rub on a fresh organic turkey a week before Thanksgiving so I could do another if needed. To our surprise, it was WONDERFUL!!!!! Just the rub ONLY!! What a great surprise!!! Thanks!!
