I’ve had my griddle for two years and let me tell you, it’s worth the money. Large area to cook on so everything gets heat. Great job Traeger!

Griddle Flatrock
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned multiples of griddles in my career
This griddle was provided to me by Traeger
It surpassed all of my expectations and evenness of cooking.
Overall, the value will be a lifetime of griddle opportunities.

Best Investment EVER!!!
I bought this back in October at The State Fair of Texas. It has been one of the best investments I have made for my Family. It’s been easy making breakfast because we have a really small kitchen so cooking outdoors is wonderful. I love the wind isn’t a factor in cooking. I also have a Traeger Ironwood 885 that I used to smoke my steaks and chicken on then use the Traeger Flatrock to sear. My Wife and I are on cloud 9.

Glad I Bought This Flat Top Grill
I received my Flat Top Grill last week. Put it together in about an Hour. Read thru the start up Instructions. Seasoned the Grill Top just like the instructions recommended. I've cooked on it 5 - 10 times so far. Easy to clean the grill top once your thru cooking. Don't forget to season the top after your done cooking. I've Cooked Eggs/Bacon/Sausage/Pancakes. It's nice to have 3 burners. You can cook all your items at different temperatures. I seared some Picanha Steak on it and it turned out Great. I've also cooked Rice, Peppers, Onions and Shrimp. I would go look at the Recipes Traeger has for this Grill. Read thru them and it will give you some ideas as to the Temperature you can start out using to learn how to cook on the grill. The Size/ Space of the Grill Top is Big. You're not going to be crowded while cooking all your items. I like not having to Clean up my Stove in my house now. Just prep your food, Turn on the Grill, Cook and Serve the Food to Everyone. No Food smells in your house now.

The Best
The best flat iron I’ve ever owned. My favorite part is the propane gauge. Never run out of propane again during a cook.

AWESOME griddle
Bought this a few months ago. Gone through my first propane tank. Grille has been AWESOME. Very even heat across the entire surface. Love the different zones. Built very sturdy! Love you oversize shelves. Love the fuel gauge and the burner ignition lights. We went from a weber genesis that we hardly used anymore, to this. I bet we've used this griddle more the past few months then the last few years on weber (and not knocking weber genesis, nicest bbq I have ever owned). Just love you can cook large breakfast for everyone. Grill up sandwiches for lunch. And do so many things for dinner. It was between this and the camp chef gridiron 36 for me. Very similar units. I liked the height more of traeger. Also liked the 4 adjustable castor wheels. Gridiron doesn't have that, can only adjust the griddle flat top front to back, not left to right. Also liked the propane tank beneath the unit instead of the side as the flatrock can fold the shelves down...gridiron ya can't with a propane bottle attached.
Grease management is awesome on both. I love the grease trap up front. It's a natural sweep toward yourself and is more the conventional way of flat tops at restaurants. I haven't been impressed by the other brands, other then the price.
Ya get what ya pay for. Budget good griddle, camp chef gridiron 36. For me, it's the traeger flatrock all the way!!

Excellent company.
I’ve had mine just about a year and it has been one of the best grills that I have ever had. The things that you can cook are endless.
I also bought one of the very first pellet grills/smoker that they made about 25 years ago and I’m still using it.

The Flatrock arrived, what a griddle.
Its a FLATROCK, assembly took a bit, cooks a dream. Seasoning took a bit, a bit more info on recommended oils would be helpful. But the first cook wet smooth, food was delish. Need removable cover/grate for debris trap, it'll take some getting used to on its location.

Clean Unit
This flat rock is amazing in comparison to my last blackstone griddle I owned. The placement of greastrap is what led me to purchase this Traeger. So much cleaner when grilling and heating elements are superb! Thank you

Great but could be a little better
I’ve been using it for a couple days now and it’s by far the best flat grill I’ve had or used. I also have the Traeger Timberline pellet grill that I’m very happy with. That being said I do have a couple of feedback comments for Treager on the Flatrock if your listening.
1st: The side tables need some type of rubber bumper on them similar to the Timberline. When you fold the tables down for storage the P.A.L. assembly bumps metal angainst metal on the flatrock legs. It’s noisey and it causes the leg paint and P.A.L. rail to chaff. It can/will become a point of corrosion in the future.
2nd: I know it adds to the cost but can you design a cover for the flatrock that’s similar to the Timberline in that the cover works when the side tables are extended? The current cover version for the flatrock doesn’t allow for the extended side tables and it kind of cuts down on the effectiveness of the P.A.L. system. What’s the use of having the P.A.L. system if you have to remove all of the P.A.L. accessories to put on the cover?

Great grill once it is together.
The grill is great but the assembly was brutal. I have assembled ten smokers and they were all pretty easy but not the flat top. Also it could use a higher quality propane hose as when I put it on the load sensor the hose kinks. Love using it though.

Fantastic grill
Overall quality is fantastic. Everything feels well made.
Knock off a star for to nit picky things. First thing, if you want to see the propane level you have to plug in the grill. I do not have an outlet in a convenient spot so I cant really use this. Second thing is the handles on the side of the grill surface itself, its holes that are in not the best of spots. It can cause issues when trying to push food against the grill wall and scoop it up. A few things have fallen through.
Other then that the grill is fantastic, I do recommend getting the utensil holder, I did not and I regret it.

Treagor Flatrock
Assembly wasnt all that bad the included video guide was helpful. My only peeves are a bottom shelf for tools woulda been neice. Also since I store outside no garage. Keeping it covered means side shelves have to be down which in turn means no storage for anything .

Great at cooking -- poor design for propane hookup
This griddle cooks with extremely even heat that's easy to control. Cleaning and maintenance also easy to complete. However, you need the strength and flexibility of an olympic gymnast to crawl under the unit to hang the propane bottle.

Highly disappointed!
I bought this unit in January. It has been nothing but problems. I may have used it 10 times. The battery pack falls out of the flat rock. The heat is never consistent. At times It will not even heat up to temp. The ignite panel is peeling off the grill and now fails to work. This is my first Traeger product. I’ve owned 6+ grills(other brands) and this is my first negative experience.
