Vornado Compact-Size Whole Room Air Circulator Fan
The 533 Vornado Air Circulator uses signature energy efficient Vortex Action to move air up to 70 feet, providing whole room air circulation. Despite being on the smaller side, the 533 is more powerful than an 18 commercial fan! Its compact size makes it ideal for use in an office, dorm room, or cubical.
Available with a 3-speed control to adjust airflow from whisper quiet to a powerful high setting for quick room circulation. Evens out room temperature, eliminating hot and cold spots. Allows you to raise your thermostat up 5 degrees in the summer and maintain the same level of comfort.

The Only Fan I Need
Well, maybe not the only one but it certainly is the only one I can comfortably sleep with at night to keep me cool. Moves air nice and quiet with just enough ambient noise, not too much and not too little. I tried a bigger model up from this one and although the quality was great it was just too powerful. This one on the lowest setting is perfect for the nightstand or desk, providing a steady force of air while not being too intrusive. You absolutely get what you pay for with Vornado fans especially the 533.

Perfect size

Excellent Customer Service
My son took this fan to a school in south with no A/C. He ran it 24/7/365. Last week it stopped working. When I called Vornado for assistance with an attempted repair, they promptly offered to replace the unit. We own three different Vornado fans and love them all!!!

I just bought this fan model 533 small vornado. 30 minutes ago brought it home plugged it in and Wala this product does exactly what they say it does I had six fans going in my house they cannot move the air as much as this little fan does hats off to you at vornado

A Fan for Life!
My previous Vornado fan -- which lasted me for more than 10 years and seen me through cross-country moves and hot flashes -- recently bit the dust when it fell over and broke a blade. But it was still usable until I got this brand new one! The new 533 Small Air Circulator keeps up Vornado's excellent tradition of creating fine products. Thank you, Vornado!

Perfect for a bedroom!
I bought this fan a little over a year ago and it has been fantastic. In a medium sized bedroom, it provides excellent air flow and helps push the air around the room, especially if placed in front of an air vent. The lowest setting is very quiet and good for sleeping, while the second setting is good for fan blade (kind of like a propeller) white noise to drown out other sounds. Cleaning isn't too bad either. Easily recommend this fan.

Great fan
I bought this to replace my old Vornado, which was about the same size. It was wonderful for around 10 years of use all night, every night. I can only assume this fan will continue the tradition. It moves a very high volume of air and is quiet.

My longtime standby

Powerful little fan for a bathroom
Using this in a basement bathroom that has no ceiling exhaust vent. I take hot showers and this fan does a much better job moving the air than the non-Vornado fan it's replacing. It sits nicely on a shelf and easy to reach the control switch. Only con is that the white fan has a black cord instead of a white cord.

Great Customer Support - Product Build Could Be Improved
I live in a small place, so everything I own must be multi-functional and long-lasting. I've been impressed with the Vornado 533's versatility. The three speeds have meaningful differences (I don't need to just run it on high all the time). I'll use it to circulate air, to keep myself cool, to try my hanging clothes, to dry up water spills on the floor, everything. Build quality is a bit questionable though. After a little less than year of heavy use (turned on daily for 4+ hours, a little less in the winter) I noticed the blades weren't spinning as fast as they used to. One day I left the fan on, went to school, came back and the fan was off. Seems the bearing grease ran out, the motor stalled, then burned itself out. Customer service was VERY quick to send me a new fan, completely free of charge. Huge thumbs up for that!

Excellent Fan!
This fan is perfect for the living room or bedroom since it is silent. It is perfect to circulate air in a large basement and does a fantastic job. The only thing I don't love is a black cord on a white fan.

Amazing relief in New Orleans' August heat!
House was built in 1929. No central air, and the heat by radiator died from rust in the furnace. Using hot/cold window units since. The unit off my bedroom has barely been functioning this year, and my friend who's going to install a new unit has been working 12-14 hours, 6 days/wk. It's August, and I couldn't sleep from the heat. Bought one of these little circulators just to see if it would help more than the fan I was using. I am now sleeping under a cover, blissfully!!! I will be getting a larger one to use in the front of the house, where the dining room has a new, powerful window unit. I am confident that this will render the three adjoining rooms equally comfortable. Thank you, Vornado!

I love all the vornado fans that I own.
I just love them. they move the air, their quiet and if you don't drop them from high places they will last a long time. I use them mainly for construction. Drying paint, sheet rock mud and the water dripping off my shrit. I bought my first one over 11 years ago when I was remodeling a very hot(July) bathroom. Its been through alot, sheet rock dust, wood sanding, metal grinding, concrete grinding... I did have to screw the cover back on, but it still works like the fisrt day i bought it. Con. Just wish the fans had some place to roll up the cord on.

Great small fan
This is about the nicest smallish fan I have been able to find, in terms of build quality and performance. I have 2 of them now. The motor itself looks to be similar to those in less expensive turbo style fans, but that's based on just looking at it. It does feel more substantial and moves more air than any other similar sized fan. I like the nice mechanical switch. Low is whisper quiet. Medium can be a bit loud, while high is turbo-prop loud - but it sure blows a lot of air at the high setting. I wish there was a medium-low option, something that made some noise for sleeping. But I suspect that given the limit of the motor design and 120AC supply voltage, something medium-low would require an electronic speed control adding complexity and reliability concerns. Quite impressed though with the build quality. It's nice to see someone taking pride in making and mfg something in the home products category. I don't need luxury products, just something that works well, and will last.

Great Warranty Service!
I had my Vornado 533 for almost 2 years. I used it almost everyday in my office, I was extremely happy with it. Until one day it just stopped working. I just emailed the warranty dept. followed a couple of super simple steps and I had a replacement fan in just over a week. You couldn't ask a company to stand behind it's product any better than that. Thank you Vornado.

Powerful, Petite and Pricey
This is a little bull dog of a fan. It really does what it says in that it throws a very focused beam of air. (I seriously doubt it throws it 75'.) I needed some circulation in a small one car garage. I set up a ping pong table and needed something with small foot print and ability to focus air strategically so it does not affect pong play. Because it is small I put in on a shelf and aimed along sidewall. Perfect. The casing is just a matt finish plastic, nothing really oozing with quality. But the shape and lines are aesthetically pleasing. It looks different in a form-follow- function kind of way. The motor is powerful, which is what you want. I think it's a little pricey but I am very impressed with it.
