Great heater

Warms up a room quickly and quietly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the increase in energy prices, and the fact that I'm often home alone, I find it too wasteful to have the entire house be heated. I have used Vornado products in the past (humidifier) so I knew it is a brand I can trust. The Velocity 1 quickly warmed up my office space and it was fairly noiseless. A very cool product to have around to get one room at a more comfortable temperature without wasting energy.

Great for bathroom!

Great space heater.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My vornado velocity 1 personal heater is great. We got it just in time for the back to back snow storms that rolled into town last week. I don’t like turning on the central heat, but I’ve got kids. My daughter put it in a her room for a few hours before bedtime and it made her room nice and toasty. She slept well through the night. I am a big fan that it turns off if it tips over as we have cats that may knock it over. It’s very light and not bulky too so that’s a plus in my book.

Perfect for us

We live in Florida and we set this heater up in our bathroom on a chilly morning so when we take a shower the temperature was perfect. So if you are in need of a smaller, dependable heater dpi not hesitate you purchase this one.

Great personal heater with a fan setting!

I live in northeast US and it gets so cold in the winter.. having a small heater to take the chill off is a necessity! You can choose from two heat settings and this personal heater really throws out a good amount of heat! This one also has a fan setting.. so you can use it as a fan also!!

It is very lightweight and easy to carry room to room and the perfect size to bring to work or use in your home office. This is a great personal size heater for when you want to warm up, but do not want to run the whole house heater. Very easy to use, it has a high/low and fan setting. The case of the heater does not heat up, so you can safely touch the heater while it is on. If you are looking for a little compact heater, this one is an impressive choice, I love it!

Excellent for RV use!
I have Vornado heaters and fans at home, they are fantastic products! I love the stability, safety features and the excellent warranty. I was very excited to find this little heater for our RV. The *normal" ones are just too easy to tip over in a small place and then add 2 dogs and 2 cats-big no go. Amperage also means a lot more in an RV, the fact that this heater can run on just 375W (low) in my bath and run me out because it gets so warm is wonderful. It also does an acceptable job for our garage area (we have a toy hauler). You could use multiples of these in an RV. It is so nice to be able to use a heater while I shower and brew a pot of coffee without tripping a fuse. I highly recommend this heater for other RVers or those with truly small spaces.

Really Nice
Nice size, cool shape, it gets the room warm, is not hot to the touch, you can sit close and not feel like it's boiling your insides! I like it and would recommend it to someone in a small space, i.e the bathroom, bedroom, small office.

Updated Version Even Better!!
I have purchased 3 of this new version of the VORNADO Personal Heater this Fall and I am so happy I did! It’s perfect! The fan has really been amped up and it’s quiet, powerful and efficient! It’s a fan, it’s a heater! Love it!

It also has an emergency shut off so if the heater gets knocked over it will no continue to run and possibly cause a fire. I will definitely recommend this product to others

Small and easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the holidays are coming up I have relatives already coming over to stay for Thanksgiving so we're getting the extra room ready and the den too...so whomever gets the den has to use our Velocity 1 Personal Heater because it's kinda cold in that room but with that little heater it will be just as cozy as can be. As a matter of fact. ..some people have gotten too cozy in my den and wanted to take up permanent residence there but that wasn't going to happen lol....

So Versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little heater is a BIG deal. It has three settings. Fan only, which is a cool thing to have. There is also low and high. This thing really throws the heat. I use it next to my chair when I am crafting or watching tv and by my bed at night. It really helps to keep me warm. The best part is the safety. It has an auto shut off. It also shuts off if you knock it over or pick it up by the handle. This really gives me peace of mind. I am getting a couple more for around the house. I definitely recommend this product.

I am happily able to keep them warm with wearing 2 pairs of socks, slippers, and a blanket on. I would gladly recommend this to my friends and family. Works Great.

It is a quiet heater so it does not bother her at night if it clicks on or off. It keeps her entire room warm and cozy without having to turn on our heater at all. She has a smaller room, but even with the door open she is warm at night.

It's not blazing hot. It has auto shut off if it's too hot in the room. Also if you were to bump into it for whatever reason, it will shut off. Watt setting is also perfect. Definitely recommend.

Great Product!!

Not only does it keep me supper comfortable it has three safety features that puts my mind at ease when I sleep. It has awesome features as well a high/low, vertex heat circulation, and fan only option. It also heats up 39% faster than other heaters as well as 30% hotter. If your looking for a heater this winter this one is the best choice by far.

Nice size
I bought this fan/heater to keep by my bedside as the wife likes to keep it pretty cool in the bedroom and I gwet chilled easily. my only suggestion is it would be nice to have a third or slightly wartmer temp setting.

Great little heater, but it doesn’t get very hot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little heater. It is small, stylish, and very easy to use. There is a single knob with three functions—fan, low heat, and high heat. The fan works reasonably well, but the heat functions are a bit disappointing. The heater simply cannot produce very hot air. It is fine for my needs, but I often find myself wishing the air leaving the heater was hotter.
