Vornado UH100 Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier
The Vornado UH100 Ultrasonic Humidifier gives you comfort you can see and feel. Powerful whole room circulation evenly distributes humidity throughout the whole room (up to 600 sq. ft.) without pooling water on the floor. The built-in humidistat allows you to set your comfort level while the UH100 automatically maintains it. With the SimpleTank System we made carrying, filling and cleaning the tank, well, simple --- 1-gallon capacity and 2-gallon output every 24 hours. Easy-to-use push button controls, 3 fan settings (High, Low and Auto), simplistic design make the UH100 anything but ordinary.

Best humidifier we have ever bought
We bought this humidifier about 1 month ago after doing much research. We have used a humidifier every year since our kids were infants. We have never found one the worked well and was easy to clean… until now! This humidifier is so easy to clean with no unreachable areas and so easy to use. I love not having a wick to deal with!

mineral cartridge
the most important feature is the mineral cartridge, as I live in an area that has hard water. This humdifier works as designed. I only wish the bigger unit had the mineral cartridges.

Well designed
We bought this for ourselves last year. We liked it enough to buy another as a gift this year. A visiting friend remarked on how quiet it was, saying her husband was turning off her other humidifier because of noise. We bought her one for Christmas. Now it sits on her side of the bed. It's small, easy to fill, easy to see when it's low, variable mist, good value.

Excellent product!
The humidity level in my house was at 18%. After just a couple of days of using this humidifier, it was up to 34%. I’m so impressed and thankful that I bought this humidifier. Vornado has the best products!

Easy to Use!
I bought two of these humidifiers a month ago. They are really easy to use. They take regular tap water because of the included filter. The large water tank gives all night uninterrupted use. The powerful fan insures good distribution of the vapor. Highly recommend this product.

Great humidification and a really sharp, attractive and very functional design!
We've had a chance to test this product for about a month now and all we can say is WOW! Our previous humidifier had a tank that was prone to growing slimy stuff between the tank and the body. It was also poorly designed for refilling making it difficult to carry, it also dripped all over the wood floors. The Vornado has a very "cool" and stylish design and filling the tank could not be easier, no drips either! Output is impressive and the fan distributes the output perfectly throughout the room. I've found Vornado products to be innovative, extremely well priced and the warranty is so good that you know they believe in their products! Give one a try, you won't regret it! Good Product, Excellent Support!
The humidifier works well, as advertised. In my case, it was fine until I broke the water tank by accident. Paula from Vornado support provided excellent support in providing me with a replacement tank.

Perfect

The air is much easier to breath and I am able to be comfortable when I sleep. Great Humidifier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great humidifier. I especially like it because it is very light weight and has a sleek design. When you first get it, you soak the mineral reservoir for 24 hours. It is easy to fill and seat in the unit. This humidifier is very very quiet. It creates lots of mist and humidifies the entire room. We have it in the a large bedroom suite and it covers the entire space. It creates lots of mist and it seems to last a long time. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time owning an humidifier, and this one is great, I love the design it’s very nice looking and very lightweight which is good cause I can easily move it around the house, it has a one-gallon reservoir so you don’t have to be refilling it constantly, it has a 600 sq ft coverage which is a lot, it can easily cover a room and I love how quiet it is; My daughters and husband suffer a lot of nosebleeds due to dry air and since we started using the vornado they have gotten a lot better, it’s very easy to clean an use so I will definitely recommend it.

My allergies needed this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Vornado humidifier for a few weeks. I wish I had purchased one years ago. It sprays mist in the air every so often, keeping the whole area humidified. It has been great for allergy problems. My nose is no longer feeling dry. It is very easy to fill. The water container comes right off so you don’t have to take the whole thing to the kitchen. It holds one gallon of water that last 12 hours. It circulates up to 600 square feet. It has auto-humidity control and two fan speeds. I highly recommend this humidifier. It’s especially great for allergy sufferers.

It Works for Me!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more waking up in the middle of the night choking, since I've gotten the Ultrasonic Uh100. It's quiet, yet powerful. This humidifier is at least 3.5-4 feet away from my bed. Yet, I feel alot better. Many nights, I would wake up in the middle of the night because I couldn't breathe or I would have a dry throat or nose. I like the fact that it's automatic and only comes on when needed. One of the best inventions made. This humidifier gets a thumbs up from me.

Perfect for Illinois weather

Our skin , lips , nose and most of all our throats get dry. With the UH100 Ultrasonic Humidifier we haven't had any of those problems during flu season. It's preventive medicine at its best !

Quiet & easy to use

Great Humidifier

Good product, but...
I have been using the product for less than a month and the bottom of the mist chamber snapped off when I removed it to dry it out for the day (to prevent mildew buildup). It was being held together with glue, so I had to reglue it. Let's see if this works or not.

Questionable for homes with gas appliances
Loved this unit, it worked great. Unfortunately my home has all gas appliances. The only way I could possibly use this unit was with distilled water. This unit uses a mineral cartridge instead of the wicks, that my other unit has. I noticed that while using this unit, my flames on the gas stove were orange, because of too many impurities in the air. After discontinuing it's use, the flames returned to blue.

Quiet
I am returning customer of Vornado, the previous unit I had stopped working unexpectedly. So I decided to see what else Vornado had for a single room humidifier. This unit is smaller, quieter and less bright than the previous model. It’s very easy to handle and fill the tank. Also no large filters just the mineral thingy to replace.

Works well but there could be an improvements on how it gets refilled
Overall we are happy with the product but currently the way it has to be refilled is cumbersome. You have to take the whole container off the humidifier and then turn it upside down over a sink. Then you unscrew the bottom and refill it and reverse putting it back together. How about just putting a opening on top of the tank to add water? It would save a bunch of time.

Nice machine but makes odd noises
Have always enjoyed Vornado products, and am pleased with Vornado Humidifer.
But it often makes odd gagging noises ( thought it was the dog vomiting ), and don't know the resolve. Makes some bubbling noises also at times.

Some good features, some not so good
Been using for about 3 weeks for nighttime humidification. Previously used teardrop-type humidifiers for several years. Good: simple easily refilled water tank, generally quiet operation, fan dispersing mist more evenly throughout room, relative ease of cleaning. Not so good: it is too easy to think the water tank is closed securely when it is not (leading to a whole gallon of water spilling out), the fan is unacceptably noisy when cycling on & off after programmed humidity level has been reached, and the control button labels are impossibly miniscule. So: Recommend but with reservations

Adding scents would be perfection

I use the humidifier in my bedroom especially now that the weather is getting dry and cold. It keeps the air humid so when the indoor heater is on and we don’t end up drying out our sinuses! I would like to see how it works with scented oil on the water tank.

I feel better
