Our Commitment to Accessibility
P.C. Richard & Son cares about all our customers and is committed to facilitating and improving the accessibility and usability of its Website, pcrichard.com (the "Website"), ensuring that our Website services and content are accessible to persons with disabilities including, but not limited to users of screen reader technology. To this end, our team has committed to making efforts to ensure that our digital properties conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 A/AA. We fully support the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in the United States. Known Limitations
We recognize that the P. C. Richard & Son website has some accessibility issues. Our team continuously monitors the site, and as we identify accessibility issues we work toward remediating them in a prioritized manner. We have identified several known issues as follows:
- We have recently transitioned away from using an accessibility “overlay.” This move has both eliminated some barriers and introduced others, which we are working diligently to eliminate. If you identify an accessibility barrier, we look forward to your feedback (see below).
- Our website relies on some third-party vendors to provide features like our “Rebate Center.” While we have worked with our third-party vendors to improve the accessibility of their products, some remain inaccessible and can't be easily replaced by similar products. If you are unable to access this information, please reach out to our customer service team.
- P.C. Richard & Son offers thousands of products for sale. Some of our manufacturers provide inaccessible documentation through our website. This includes service manuals or technical documents on the use of their products. P. C. Richard & Son has urged our manufacturers to provide these documents in an accessible format but many have been unwilling to do so. If you are unable to access this information, please reach out to our customer service team.
