Handy brush.
Like this brush for cleaning grids after they have cooled. I use the wire right after taking food off. When grids cool brush with this.

Poor design
Complete waste. Received as a replacement for my metal bristol Weber brush. Do not buy. Can only use cold once grilled food is already set. Save yourself frustration, buy another brand

Inadequate melt warning!!
Received as part of the wire brush recall. Not all members of my household were aware that it could not be used for the same hot grill purpose as what it was replacing. The label doesn’t have an adequately sized warning that it must be used only on a cold grill. It is now melted, and I’m concerned about the potential negative health effects from this problem that Weber created.

Worst Cold Cleaning Brush!!!!!
This brush was a replacement after the one I owned for over seven years, due to a recall by Weber. After receiving this replacement brush, it was used on a cold grill during a hot summer day to clean my grill before turning on to barbecue food. The bristles touched the grates and as I continue to clean the cold grill, the bristles started to disintegrate. I have owned a number of Weber Grills and accessories for over 25 years and have been exceptionally happy with all of their products but this replacement cold cleaning brush, unfortunately does not meet Webers standards. I hope Weber takes this review seriously and other negative reviews back to R&D and can address this flaw. Signed….disappointed!

Cheaply made and useless
After waiting months I finally received this so called “cold” grill brush through the replacement recall process. I was VERY disappointed considering the original (recalled) brush I purchased was far superior in both function and design

Disappointing
Hello to you, Weber. Who made the decision to send this **COLD** cleaning brush as a "replacement" for the recalled brush (which didn't require a cold grill)? I'm surprised that you would do this to your customers. Maybe it was done inadvertently on your part, but you messed up. Please consider making this right for customers that completed the recall process. Thank you.

Terrible brush
This is the replacement brush we received for the recall on the actually useful grill brush that left metal bits in your food.
After waiting months, this is *terrible* thing is what we received. It's too flexible so you can't exert any downward force when brushing. It's meant to be used on a cold, not hot, grill, so nothing's been warmed up yet to help with removal.
Seriously. I wish I could get my money back for this thing, except I didn't pay anything for it.

Terrible Replacement
I expected a replacement to my recalled grill brush. This plastic abomination is not what I expected or wanted.

Absolute junk!
Received this as part of the recall and it melted on first use. I contacted Weber customer service and they refused to replace with a hot brush with the same use case as the one that was recalled. Weber is disgraceful for sending this junk as a replacement for a previously recalled product. After using Weber products for 30 years I will no longer consider purchasing anything they make.

Extremely poor quality
The worst!!!!! I received this brush as part of the recall. It is definitely sub par compared to other Weber brushes I have owned. The bristles are made of low quality plastic that are useless for clearing the grates. Also, if the grill is extremely hot the bristle will melt. I would not recommend this brush to anyone. Weber took the cheap way out of the recall with this one.

Replacement Brush
I received this brush as a replacement and it is worthless. It doesn't do anything to clean the cast iron cooking grates and you don't make any stainless steel cooking grates for my model. It bends easily so you can't put much pressure on it. Also, the plastic tines are coming out so I can't do anything but throw it away.

Cheap replacement for recalled grill brush
This was a replacement for an awesome grill brush that was recalled. That thing was well made and a beast. No problem using on a hot grill. This stupid grill brush melted when I used it. In hindsight, yes maybe I should have paid attention to the plastic bristles and realized I couldn’t use this on a hot grill. But who cleans a cold grill? Definitely a cheap recall replacement. Disappointed in Weber and will look elsewhere for my grilling needs.

Inferior Replacement
Like others, I received this brush as a replacement for the shorter wire version that was recalled. And I agree with other reviewers about the significantly different and less effective configuration relative to ability to clean (downgrade), the flimsy plastic bristles that have nowhere near the durability of metal (downgrade) and the lack of practicality related to instructing its use as a cold clean brush only (I think most know that cold cleaning is very difficult compared to cleaning a warm grille). I’ll add that the density of the individual bristles is significantly less than on the wire version, and there are 38% fewer rows of bristles on this replacement than on the wire version (21 rows vs. 34). The only good thing I can say about it is that the handle is nice. It is worthless for cleaning the grill grates on my Weber "Q" grille. My respect for Weber products has decreased after receiving such a poorly designed and inferior replacement tool.

Pathetic piece of junk
Got this as part of their recall of the metal version. What a pathetic worthless piece of junk! This thing does virtually nothing for cleaning the grates. Weber you should be ashamed of yourselves for putting this product out. This will definitely influence any and all future products from Weber. To say is am irritated is a vast under statement.

Poor design and utility - not useful
I received this as a recall replacement for the original wire one. I’m sorry to say but the design on this is a fail. First, cleaning a grill grate when cold makes no sense. It is harder to get food off and you have to put more elbow grease into it. Second, the stem is less rigid so when you put more pressure into scrubbing, it starts to bend so you have no leverage to clean the grates. If the is is the best Weber engineers can come up with, I would look for another brand to solve the “wire sticking to grates” issue.

Not enough bristles.
Don’t buy if you have porcelain coated grill grates. Metal on porcelain is a no go. Unless you wanna scratch, chip, and have your grates rust. The OXO brush is awesome and those little plastic pan scrapers get into those tight spots this scraper was supposed to go. Forget about it. Weber needs to do better on this product. Needs more bristles so the metal wire can’t reach the porcelain grates.
