Great Features
My last Weber lasted over 15 yrs. It was time to get a new one. The sear zone and digital thermometer are great features and that's why I bought this model.

Excellent NG choice

The 4-burner Spirit has even heat to the corners and has a good-sized grille in a footprint sized for smaller spaces. I recommend adding the stainless grates for easier cleaning. However I miss the weight gauge of my old Spirit to have a rough idea of the tank level.

Great Grill
For many years we had a Weber Genesis, but alas, it reached it lifetime. We got a Spirit because it fit better on our lanai and we required less grill surface. Same great quality and our previous grills. Love the digital thermometer.

Outstanding~
I've owned Weber Grills my entire adult life. After 20 years of griling on my old weber, it was time for a new one, along came the Spirit 425. Awesome grill, as expected, no surprises. Thanks for being a great company...hope to enjoy this one for the next 20 years~

Enjoying my new grill

Great Grill!

Great buns
I had just finished firing up burgers for my daughter’s birthday party when everyone requested toasted buns. I set each burner to the same setting and covered the entire grill surface. Every bun had same char/grill marks, my old grill would have turned the back buns to croutons and left the front cold. Well done Weber crew! Quality build and crazy precise.

This is my second Weber barbecue. The first one was a genesis grill that I had for fifteen years. Never had a problem with it but it was time for an updated grill. I didn’t hesitate to choose a Weber grill and if I live long enough my next one will be a Weber. What I love most is the griddle insert. Smash burgers are 100% better on the barbecue and I don’t have to invest in a third outdoor appliance, the patio gets crowded. So far my spirit grill works great and I like the digital thermometer. It smaller than the genesis but still enough for a party. The only con is that I wish they would have incorporated the frame for the inserts and storing the inserts is difficult.

Weber hit a Homerun with EP-425
I purchased the Weber Spirit EP-425 (four caster wheels and digital thermometer; no side-burner.) Many of the supposedly “New” Spirits still have the annoying two plastic wagon-wheels and two peg legs. I hated it on my 2018 Weber Spirit II E-310 which this replaced.
My only complaint are the burner knobs (the EP-425 has four.) I’ve actually left one on when I thought it was off. It is hard to explain, but they can be tricky. After a dozen grilling events, I now have it right.
I think Weber has done a great job. I even bought the griddle insert (#6787), which will replace my stand-alone. Plus, I added the Griddle storage bag (#7035) to make storage more efficient when I switch. I recommend both items.
There are similar looking new Spirit grills. I highly recommended making sure you get EP(Papa)-425 with Four Casters including the digital thermometer. I like that I’m able to see the precise temp from inside my house.
The EP-425 also has a notable increase in cooking surface from my 310. I was tempted to stray from Weber, but once I saw the new EP-425, it was over. I think Weber hit a homerun. I grilled and griddled every day over 4th of July weekend. My family enjoyed it too!

Spirit is great
