Really love this grille. Previous Genesis grille lasted over 10 years. Love the ability to use half as a griddle while also having the room to cook other foods on the grates. Assembly was easy. However once you open each box parts inside are not labeled. The installation manual pictures provided guidance on what to use and where. Advice to other purchasers would be to lay out each part to be able to find them without digging through pile of parts.

Performs Exactly As Advertised.
I've owned Weber gas grills for years, so, when I was in need of another grill, that was my brand of choice. Reviewing the available new grills and all the new options, I chose the S-435 Grill. It has performed exactly as advertised. I have used the Sear Zone, the Wok grille with my wok, and, I added a full sized cast iron griddle. All perform nicely. I read many of the reviews while deciding my purchase and I have come to the conclusion that the negative reviews are from inexperienced gas grill users. An old adage I use is, "No expectations, No disappointments". I'm thinking the negative reviews also come from people who are expecting more from this unit than what it was designed to do.

Great Grill!
Love my new grill. I bought the griddle that fits nicely on one side and it’s great for smashing burgers. Burners ignite immediately after pressing the igniter and heat is well distributed.

Quality matters
I've owned many brands of grills. Most of them didn't last more than 1-2 years. My last Weber lasted 10 years and was still working when I gifted it to a friend in need. The 435 I replaced mine with is an upgrade and I'm thrilled with the performance and quality of this grill. I don't think any brand cooks better than a Weber, and considering thier quality and longevity, I think they are a great deal.

Awesome grill - many options - would have been nice to know what comes with the grill standard along with the many opitions you can order in addition to the standard configuration - expensive but hopefully a worthwhile investment

This is actually the second grill that I purchased. The first one resides with my ex-wife and is all stainless. I owned that one for 2-3 years and I loved it (except for the all stainless), keeping it clean was difficult if you cook your steaks at 550 degrees. My first Weber was a Spirit 3 burner that I owned for 10 years and was flawless. I put new guts in it and gave it to my daughter who has been using it for the past 4 years and it is Weber flawless. The Spirit grill is black and still looks great so that is why I purchased this one in black. Sear Zone works great for T-bones. I did buy the Weber wok but have not used it yet but I will soon. The grill is perfect, just like the other Webers that I have owned (I also own the Weber Traveler for my vacations). If you are looking for a big grill that can do it all, look no further. It’s Weber Perfect!!!

He loves how easy it is to get great grill marks on steak without over cooking and is excited about the amount of accessories available he's already talking about the griddle insert, seeing the smile on his face as hes cooking on his new grill was worth every penny!

Weber Genesis Grill
I recently purchased a 4-burner Genesis grill for our 2nd home in the mountains. The grill itself is a great improvement over the one we have at our primary residence which is at least 8-10 years older. The installation directions using strictly pictorials could be improved.

Genesis S-435 Gas Grill
I received this new Genesis S-435 as a Father's Day gift. I was given a Genesis grill 15 years ago that was still operational when I sold it just the other day. I love Weber's Grills for their reliability and long life with little maintenance required! This new grill has been improved in many ways that allows me to grill in different ways which I am currently exploring, much to my wife's delight! Weber keep doing what you do best engineer a great product that can be used for more than a decade, day in and day out!

Genesis S-435 Gas Grill LP
This grill is wonderful. It has great features, well built and sturdy. I love the Weber Crafted grill options. We added the griddle insert and plan on adding more especially the searing grate. We also love the added storage compartment, which is very handy. The fuel gage measuring device is a plus, however, the gauge marker on the outside of the door was upside down. We gently peeled it off and corrected it but had to add some shipping tape to hold it down. We also noticed that this grill efficiently burns and uses less LP than our old one. Overall, we love the Genesis grill, it's well built and will get used...a lot!

Genesis S-435 Gas Grill (Liquid Propane).
I have used Weber gas grills for a very, very long time (81 years old ) , but this one is by far the best. It is like cooking on my commercial natural gas stove , This grill does what i want it to do , high heat when i want it . The sear feature works better than i thought it would . I am even more elated with the 4 burner /front to back burners rather than the 3 running lengthwise , Two different grilling temperature's on the same grill . Best improvement in all the years Weber has been in business .

Kalamazoo like performance at a great price
Very well built grill, good design features include the gas burners which burn very clean and the hood thermometer which is very beefy and accurate. The large side trays are very helpful. The stainless steel finish is very nice and the griddles are heavy duty and well made. I bought the griddle insert for this unit. It is an excellent add on for the weekend get togethers when you need fast cooking and maximum cooking surface. Overall it is almost as good as my Kalamazoo HB 750, which costs 10X as much. An excellent grill for the money and the Weber warranty makes the investment very worthwhile.

Best grill experience yet!
I had a 17 year old similar Weber grill and loved it. New deck - New grill.
I cook outside several times a week, weather permitting. And this new replacement grill is even better! It handles all my outdoor cooking needs perfectly - veggies to bacon, hotdogs to steaks, etc. I really like the expandable upper shelf. The side burner is more convenient on the left side and the larger side shelf on the right side is much more usable in this extended size. The grill temperature control is terrific - very controllable from low up to 700 degrees. And the grill grates are more flexible than ever. I haven’t yet used the round wok grate but expect to soon. Flexibility is a good thing to have.

Great grill
Love our new grill. We used to have 3 burner and moved up to this one. I love the way the burners now go front to back. Also the electric ignition makes life so much easier. Can’t wait to get the inserts.
