Charcoal Is King
Great charcoal grill. A little bit of a learning curve regulating temperature and arranging the charcoal, but once you master that, there are endless possibilities of cooking. I have not cooked with a charcoal grill for over 20 years. Definitely the way to go.

A little upgrade.
I had my first Original Kettle from 1992 until this past summer. We made very Thanksgiving turkey on it for all those years with indirect heat and lots of smoke. Everyone loved those turkeys. It was time for a little upgrade. And guess what, I gave the 30 year old grill away. It is still in action!

BEST GRILL FOR THE MONEY
Can't beat the quality of the tried-and-true Weber Kettle Grill. I purchased this to replace one I had for 20 plus years, only because it was damaged during moving.
The ash removal system is improved, much easier to dump them now. The one thing I liked better on my old Weber it that it had two welded on handles, one on each side, instead of just one. Not a big deal, but nicer having two if you need to move a hot grill. All in all, I love it!

Back to Foundational Basics
Unbeatable, classic, back to basics excellence. Tired of burner maintenance and insufficient heat of my 6-burner propane grill, I went back to basics and got the Weber Original Kettle Premium wherein I use hardwood lump and briquette charcoals. The ability to go direct or indirect and instantly be in charge of my heat is what matters most to me. You can’t beat the effectiveness of the Weber Kettle. I didn’t know how much I missed it. I use mine once or twice a week and I love it. For me, along with my wood and coal burning offset smoker, there is no better way to cook.

Great grill!
Love our new grill! Easy to clean, easy to add coal, and the temperature gauge makes it easy to monitor without having to lift the cover! This was a replacement for our last weber grill... one my dad had been using since the 80s that we took over using about 10 years ago! Weber has always been tried and true.

Nothing compares to a Weber
I have a second home near a lake in Wisconsin and the home came with an older Weber grill that since then was rusting out, charcoal grate tabs were gone and the cooking grate had troubles supporting food. I cannot express enough how my new Weber performs. The food cooks more evenly and tastes better. The charcoal burns more evenly. I would never settle for just any grill. I recommend Weber to everyone.

needs second handle
I love the grill but my old one had two handles on it front and back this one does not. The second handle is nice to have if you are loading in back of truck to take some where else to cook or to just pick it up over something in the way.
