Excellent Choice for where Flame is not allowed.
I bought this for on a condo deck where charcoal and propane grills are prohibited. It's perfect for that situation. I like to use it to sear meat that I had cooked sous vide. However it does not have a griddle available. I bought a third party griddle online that was supposed to fit this grill. It fits but the lid does not completely close when using it. I don't close the lid while searing so it's fine. Would be better if Weber carried a griddle to fit.

Well thought out compact grill
Perfect for condo settings when it's raining outside and you still want to grill. Almost smokeless. Great heat output for searing. Heavy, enameled cast iron grill grates are easy to clean. No charcoal mess to deal with but still gives a good grill flavor. Stores away easily.

What an efficient little grill
I was a bit skeptical that this little gem would provide the proper heat to char even a simple hamburger. WOW! I was proven wrong. Great from 20 mins heat up (per instruction) to perfectly cooked burger with char marks. Even the clean up was minimal. I also bought a cover (separately). The girl is so compact it sits in the patio corner taking up little space on our condo deck.

Great Little Grille
Great little grille. I had purchased a different grille mostly due to price and was not happy with it. Not enough heat. I finally decided to change and purchase this Weber grille and it is like night and day from the other. No problem getting enough heat to cook steaks and burgers. So far so good and even enough heat when it's a bit cold outside. Very happy so far, good even heat and enough of it. Easy to operate and adjust temperatures as needed, and large enough cooking surface for our needs (couple).

Love this electric grill
I purchased this grill to replace another brand electric grill that i enjoyed for five years. I really like the Webber so much better. It gets so much hotter and the heat is very even. I also like the removeable liner that makes the grill so much easier to clean. I carry it in my motorhome and it takes very little space. Our motorhome is total electric so by using this grill we never have to worry about having propane.

Great little grill!
I did not think the Q1400 would cook as great as my gas weber, I was wrong. The grill is bring used in my garage in winter, it does not heat up as fast but the wait is worth it. I have tried cooking many meats with great success and taste! ! Now gas outside in nice weather and electric when cold. Nice grill Weber!

This is a great portable BBQ that is so easy to use and clean. Food tastes just as good as on a propane grill without the fuss of having to change out propane tanks or worrying about running out during the cooking process. You also have better temperature control which allows you to cook practically anything! Frankly I was skeptical of an electric grill at first, but this was a gift and has turned out to be one of my favorite BBQ’s ever owned/used.

My first Weber Q 1400 lasted over 10 years. When the electronic control quit working I replaced it with another Q 1400. Best choice ever. Food taste fantastic and no charcoal or LP bottles to mess with.

Best Electric Grill
We absolutely LOVE our new Weber Electric Table Top Grill! We purchased the Q 1400 & it's perfect! All of the food tastes wonderful! We purchased an outdoor cart & a custom cover for the grill & the cart! It's soooo easy to clean, too! Weber is the BEST & well worth the price! We highly recommend this grill! We are seniors, & it was soooo easy to assemble. All we had to do was add on the grill handles! We read the reviews prior to our purchasing, & they were great. It's sooo nice not to have to bother with charcoal or propane! Thank you, Weber!

Weber G 1400 a home run!
Our heat controller was defective right out of the box and we realized that when we received the replacement that the controller never worked right. I called customer service and Marissa G heard my issues and situation, and worked with me to expedite my replacement grill. She jumped through every hoop to get my grill up and running as we were win the middle of a vacation with no girl. With the new controller the grill is amazing and cooks well and there is no shortage of heat.

Q1400 - great little electric grill
The Weber Q1400 electric grill heats up quickly and cooks evenly. We have grilled chicken and fish so far and everything has been great. It is easy to take out the grill plates and the removable metal liner and they clean up very quickly with Easy Off spray. We like the grill so much we just bought one for our son who has a small patio and cannot use a gas grill. He just received it yesterday - we showed him ours and asked him if he wanted one for his birthday and he was excited to be able to grill in his new apartment. The Q1400 is quite small but it is just right for us as we are empty nesters.

Outstanding Electric Grill by Weber
I have used Weber Propane grills, literally, for decades. But, now, being older and living in a condo, I don’t want to deal with lugging propane tanks around and grilling in the pouring rain. So, I got the Weber electric grill and have it on our lanai. The performance is similar to the propane grill. I cannot tell them difference. It get extremely hot, perfect for steaks, burgers, pork chops, salmon. I’ve done then all, so far. And, it is easy to clean. Very. Honestly, I am shocked, pleasantly, by how good this grill is.

Perfect little grill
This is the best grill if you are downsizing or just to have as an alternate for the garage when it rains. It is simply the best and my go to grill when I have bratwurst, brats are messy and this grill is easy to disassemble and clean. I have invested in the griddle to use for buns and bacon. I would highly suggest getting the stand with wheels, this makes it easy to store and move around and yes, I have taken this up and down a flight of stairs pretty easily. It is a Webber so the quality of the grill is there even being an electric one, The lid is heavy, the grates are solid and it cooks my food evenly. Overall, I am very happy with this grill and would purchase it again.

I love my Electric Weber Q grill. I live in an apartment complex so I’m allowed to have it. I used it everyday even in the winter. I’ve own it for 9 yrs and it’s still going strong. It cooks great and even my friends are amazed how well it cooks.

I assume you mean an extension cord. I’d say yes, but it would need to be heavy duty cord such as an appliance cord.

Can I use it on a screened porch?Does it have a stand?
We use ours on an open porch. It does smoke as it cooks food, so perhaps a fan to blow it through the screen would help. There is an optionally priced stand available for it. We bought it and can't imagine using the grill without it.

Can this grill be used indoors?
I don't see why not but I would only use it inside if you have windows to open and maybe a ceiling fan too. I personally would not use it indoors.
