I love my Slate 28!
This is an incredible cooking flattop.
It came on a pallet in a box that was impressively well packed
The assembly was easy and fast. The direction were good.
I have been experimenting with cooking on the griddle and it does a wonderful job.
It is easy to clean .
I look forward to a magnificent Griddle season, year round

Great product, i seasoned it even if it says it's seasoned and it was really easy. Assembly was easy and simple even if I was alone to do it.

Loving the Slate
Very happy with my purchase. Slate was fairly easy to set up. Natural gas option is very convenient. Have a couple of cooks under my belt and very happy with the outcome. Glad I’ve added this griddle to my other Weber options. A friend sold me on it after he previously owned another brand for a couple years and then upgraded to Weber.

Another Great Weber Product
I love my New griddle, came pre-seasoned and ready to use out of the box. As usual, it is another fantastic product from Weber. It heats very evenly which is great. Very easy to clean and very easy to maintain the seasoning. I really like the fact that it is rust resistant. I definitely recommend this Griddle.

First griddle
Love it . Started with a 210 grill with a lodge cast iron plate on it. Pretty small but my first test to see if I like and can cook on a griddle. After a year of cooking on it and not using the grill function at all as well as the size limitations, decided to go to a full size griddle. Picked the slate because of the rust resistant top , reviews as well as being a fan of weber. Quick to heat, easy to clean, looks nice. The only cons are the black side vents show that the channel below holds water. Needs 2 drain holes per side. Also the the galvanized panels below the griddle collect water as well then slowly drain to the shelf below. 2 drain holes on either side would fix that but it will still grain to the shelf below. Of course when I get a gazebo to put it under both of those problems will go away. Love it and a fan for sure.

Awesome grill that's easy to use. No side burner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's about to be grilling season, so my husband was ecstatic about this opportunity. The Weber Rust resistant grill comes in as compact a box it can be but it is an awesome size for grilling. It took my husband about 45min to put it all together including hooking up the propane.
Heat up: I was intrigued to find out how even the m grill would heat as the flame is technically covered. To my surprise, I was able to start grilling meats in a few minutes. I didn't find the surface any better in terms of "residue". I find it's better to scrape any juices s you go along otherwise the surface can be not as pleasant to grill. If you want to see traditional grill lines, I tried putting a grill pan on the surface and found it didn't really heat up the same
It took longer to cook did but it wasn't impossible.
Versatility; I was excited to use the grill because you can actually use it for way more foods with less ease: vegetables, rice, hibachi, toasting. It's a one stop shop without being exposed to the flame allowing for more even heating.
Clean up: I didn't find this grill easier or harder to clean than your traditional grill.
At the price point, I love this grill for families and your next cook out! Hard core grill master can be within everyone's reach!

Perfect outdoor griddle

It heats up fast and evenly, which makes cooking so much easier.
The independent heat zones are a fantastic feature—I can sear meat on one side while keeping buns warm on the other. The burgers taste absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust and juicy inside. The rust-resistant coating is a huge plus, as it keeps the griddle looking new despite frequent use. It’s also easy to clean, which makes post-cooking maintenance stress-free. I love using this griddle for everything from steaks to breakfast foods.
I’m extremely satisfied with this griddle and highly recommend it!

Love my new griddle by Weber
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Slate 28” Rust Resistant Weber Grill and to be honest it’s bigger van I thought. Installing/ putting together took about 45 mins. We cooked on it and it’s amazing. This amazing Weber Griddle is easy to put together, adjustable knobs, and the pre-seasoned surface which also includes a grease trap located on the bottom left corner for easy cleaning after each cook. It’s so nice to have this spot to just push grease and bit of food down into the collection tray.
Comes on 2 durable wheels that allow for easy moving from one location to another, just lift and push.
As for the rust resistance, I can’t say just yet, not until I use it for a bit and have it for a while longer. I sure hope it stays this way longer than most. It does have a different coating on the outside that might just be the ticket to the rusting problem so many other brands have. My Weber Griddle has 3 burners with a wind guard, plus it takes propane 20lb tank. (the tank is not included). I absolutely love the wind guards that helps the burners to not blow out. The best part is the size as we are a household of 4 and it’s perfect for us. Oh, did I mention the side shelf’s? These come In super handy when you are having to locate a place to prep your meats, veggies and or a place to sit your cookware. The heat is evenly distributed throughout which cooks food amazing. My husband loves the no coating needed and he can use medal tools if he chooses to without worry of scratching and or ruining the griddle itself. So all the griddle cooking we do can be done without worry and with an amazing Weber Griddle to boot that cooks like a pro. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to get a griddle and not a huge one.

Best griddle ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This griddle is amazing! I was considering a members mark one but this one has it beat on so many levels! For one this one is so sturdy which is great! The cleaning is so easy and I live that the hole is to the side and not smack in the middle! Seems to distribute the heat perfectly through out the whole thing and we made some amazing burgers on it! Can’t wait to continue using it some more! Also the lid stays on and just comes down the back so that’s a plus not having to find somewhere to put the huge cover!

Great griddle
I was please to receive this griddle through Influenster. This griddle was easy to use, versatile, and easy to clean. I originally thought the size might be a bit small, but was pleasantly surprised with how much it ended up fitting. I look forward to using this griddle for many backyard afternoon barbecues!

Twice as long to cook some food
The down fall is the hood has to opened when cooking. I wish I could shut the hood while cooking it would take less time to cook good other than that it works well
