Our New Favorite outdoor cooking workhorse
Simply put, I love this griddle. The Slate top is fantastic right out o the box, as promised. We do everything on this now, from breakfast to dinner. My only regret was not getting a larger model as I didn't realize how useful it was. This was our first griddle, and it's been super easy to maintain.

Want a flat top? Stick with Weber!
Weber makes the best grills period. I have owned them for years and did not hesitate to stick with Weber when I made the move to a flat top. Not disappointed.

28" Grill
Love my new grill. Similar to the large cook stoves used at a summer children's camp only smaller, great to use, clean up is simple. Looking forward to many years of use.

Amazing Griddle
My wife purchased this for me for Father’s Day and it has been an amazing addition to our backyard cooking abilities. We also have a Weber Grill and since purchasing the Skate Griddle I haven’t touched the grill. So clean, sleek, and well designed with the piston lid and amazing push and turn ignition. I did condition mine even though it came preconditioned and nothing has stuck while cooking. We’ve cooked chicken, salmon, beef, etc and all has turned out delicious. Plus, it is so much easier to clean and maintain than the gas grill. And no flare ups when cooking beef! Absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

Exceeded expectations
Bought this out of curiosity as I wasn’t sure I’d use it as I have a Weber bar b que, but from the first cook I was hooked. It comes seasoned but I did watch a few videos so I did do a simple oil burn in. This griddle has excellent heat coverage so pay attention when cooking what heat setting you have selected. It cleans so quickly, I use a bit of water and/or ice cubes and heat it and scrape..,comes clean easily. I use it 3-4x a week, I had it assembled as part of my purchase so I can’t comment of ease of assembly :)

Great Griddle
I have been using this griddle for about a month and I love it. It does exactly what it says it will. The super easy ignition is one of my favorite things. Easier to keep clean than a grill too. Although I live my Weber grill too.

Great Griddle
Love it so far, have owned it about 2 weeks and have done around 10 cooks. I seasoned it before use and put a light coat of oil after each use. It has been great cooking on so far and have done eggs and hash browns. Shrimp, all kinds of veggies and seared a tomahawk steak.

Really fun! Early Father’s Day gift. Couldn’t be happier. I wish you could use the cover to melt things but bought a dome. Happy to not have to season it like crazy. Wish it was a bit cheaper in cost. But overall very satisfied

Best outdoor cooking appliance ever.
This griddle is all it is described. Rock solid build, better than some automobiles. Even cooking for great flavors. The best part is that it is easy to clean.
I have been looking at the gas grills to replace my Weber kettle. It is sad to see the lack of solid structure in these units as most are made overseas. I guess I'll just stick with charcoal.

Glad we went with a Weber Griddle
Our Weber Slate 28 Griddle was delivered to us on a palate, in a Super- Well-packed box. It too about 30 minutes to unpack and assemble the griddle.
It was an easy build and it is a sturdy device.
Learning to cook on a griddle was easy with all the YouTube videos available, and nothing falls through the grates because there are none. It is a flat top griddle. Easy to cook on and easy to clean.
We are extremely happy with this griddle

Still early
So far this grill is amazing. It’s still early to give a full blown review but so far perfection. I love all the attachments you can buy for the grill also. My number one thing though is the rust resistant part. I’ll go a week or three without grilling and other griddles would start rusting in spots so far this grill has not done that.
