Cooking on the Slate is fun!
So much fun to cook on the Slate. Throw your favorite proteins & vegetables on, toss around until you have crispy edges. Clean up is very easy too. I've been cooking all sorts of meals on all kinds of devices for 30 years. The Slate is by far the most fun I've had when cooking.

Go big!
Size matters when it comes to grilling, especially if you entertain, and this griddle has it. Love quality of Weber products as the price tag demands it. Give yourself a couple of hours to assemble (need two people for a couple of the steps). Packaging and instructions are excellent. Accessories like warming rack a must. Cover is a little snug for my liking is my only complaint so far.

Awesome Weber 36 inch slate grill
The Weber 36 inch slate grill has been a phenomenal addition to our backyard barbecues!! The ease of use and cleaning is a massive plus to this incredible grill! The additional side tables are well placed and sturdy. I highly recommend this grill for any of your needs!

Where have you been all my life!!!
I absolutely love our Weber Slate griddle. We've had breakfast cooked on it almost everyday since we purchased it. It seasoned well and is so easy to maintain. Of course we have done delicious smash burgers and hotdogs with the grands. We did a tender loin on it the other night and it was amazing!!!

Great for family of 7
Easy to put together and season. Use it several times a week over the last 4 months and very happy with it. Perfect size for family of 7. We have a natural gas line that makes this easier to use. I turn it on before starting prep work. I can make a batch of 18 pancakes in one go. Easy clean up. Haven't used the kettle since we got this, although I still prefer charcoal flavor the convenience and surface area of the griddle is an easy trade off.

Love the Griddle
Love this new griddle. Plenty of space to cook a batch of food to feed my hungry relatives. Have tried a number of cooks on it and so far it has meet my expectations. Easy to season and clean. Cooks well. Looking forward to years of service from this well constructed griddle.

Best griddle for the buck!
Awesome griddle. Lots of space and easy to maintain. I love that we have so many different options with the tablets. Perfect Griddle, I bought the 28 and thought it was too small but with the 36’’ there’s no issue at all!

Weber Slate griddle 36" natural gas side table.
Weber slate griddle has totally redefined this class of outdoor cooking. My mind is now on cooking and not worrying about the unit rusting or high-end maintenance.

As advertised - an excellent griddle.
As advertised - an excellent griddle. It gets very hot where you want it and has very good heat control. The only issue I had was the Weber gas quick connect. Tried 2 of them and neither would let you connect the grill's gas line. Used a different quick connect and no issues.

36" Weber Slate
I’ve been using the 36 Slate for about a month. So far I love it and I’m very satisfied I chose this griddle out of the many I’ve researched. The 36 gives me the space to batch cook. The shelving and cabinet set up are useful in design. The griddle cleans up well and the temperature control is user friendly.
I haven’t used my gas or charcoal grill since I put together the Slate. I’ve cooked and seared all kinds of meat, veggies, pancakes, and pizza are super simple too. I wish I had pulled the trigger sooner.
Out of the box I noticed some damage that must have happened at the factory because the box and packaging were in great shape when purchased and unpacked. I registered the griddle and contacted customer support, sent some photos they requested and they shipped me the replacement parts I needed. Kudo’s to the support team for making it right without a bunch of hassle!
I do not have any of the extra caddies and such for the 36 Slate yet but all in all I can highly recommend it and would purchase it today if I didn’t have it.

Where to start - The rust resistant feature isn’t a marketing ploy, it’s the real McCoy; the hinged lid is smooth as silk and does a great job of helping keep the griddle clean between uses, the grease trap is an ideal size, works flawlessly and has an ideal location (front left corner) so you are not reaching across the griddle to remove grease or giving up prime real estate in the front center of the surface area. The griddle heats relatively evenly and is consistent in terms of holding temps and the storage is more than abundant. My only caution before you put your money down is this is a beast to move. If moving more than a few feet, highly recommend taking the griddle top off, relocate the base unit and then have some help reinserting the griddle top.
All in all, could not be more pleased with the purchase.

36” Beast of a Griddle
Man of man is this thing awesome! First time griddle owner and so happy I went with the 36” Slate. I have a decent sized family and I’ve utilized every square inch of that surface. It cooks evenly, is easy to clean, and easy to prep for the next cook. It supposedly came preseasoned but based on a lot of reviews and videos I watched I went ahead and seasoned it with vegetable oil, about 4-5 coatings. Every cook since then I’ll clean it afterwards with water and the scraper, kill the burners, and then a light coating of oil and it’s ready to go the next time. It’s an amazing product, both in how it functions as well as being aesthetically awesome! Weber always coming in clutch with their products!

Well built, versatile and consistent burners.
Been looking for a griddle for some time. Had a Weber Genesis with a 3rd party griddle top. Loved it. Decided I needed to upgrade to a Griddle and haven't looked back. The 36" Slate is exactly what I needed. I like the versatility of being able to customize the tables and inserts. The extra lift up table is very handy for my finished food items. The Griddle was seasoned but I decided to go through the seasoning process that Weber describes and it went flawlessly. Highly recommend this one over the others that are out there. Weber makes a well built Griddle!
