Happy with my decision from
Very satisfied with the product and the experience
This is my second Weber Natural Gas grill. After 12 years the gas regulator failed and the flavorizer bars and grids need to be replaced so I purchased a new grill. I went from a two burner Spirit to a three burner Spirit. Assembly was very easy. My new grill heats up much quicker even with only two burners in use. The grids clean very easily.

Moving on from Char Broil.
This is my first Weber gas grill after an endless stream of Char Broil infrared units. My Char Broil models performed well for a short period of time before needing to be replaced due to rust through. As a matter of fact, we went through four Char Broil models in the span of sixteen years since we moved to our current location. That's one grill every four years. We are confident based on testimonials that the current Weber model will last over four years. Initially we were worried about flare-ups and such moving from an infrared model to a traditional natural gar grill with a (somewhat) open flame. So far, flare-ups have proven to be a non-issue. As a matter of fact, the occasional flame actually seems to benefit the cooking! The temperature of the grill is very easy to modulate from well over 600 degrees down to just under 300. That is something that was near to impossible (the lower heat) with the old infrared models. The lower heat settings should benefit cooking things like roast chickens and ribs using the indirect heat method. We'll let you know. So far so great!

Forty five year Weber kettle user goes natural gas
My first gas grill. I've been a forty five-year user of Weber kettle charcoal grills -- owned five at various times but didn't move them with each new house. The first was a gift from father-in-law who won it in a sales contest. We down-sized and moved into an apartment and purchased this for grilling on our balcony.
Start with instruction manual. It's well written and has great tips on getting started with gas grilling, seasoning the grill, and cleaning. The grill itself is well constructed and solid. The parts all seem to fit together well. Ignition and grill controls work well.
As a warning: it's heavy. My hardware store assembled it and delivered to my balcony. Only two trips to the hardware store to obtain the correct connectors for our natural gas line. A second warning -- multiple add-ons will make grilling easier: a meat thermometer, fitted cover, barbeque tools and tray for grilling vegetables. All will suck you in!

WHEELS DISINTERGATED ON THE GRILL!
THIS IS MY SECOND SPIRIT THE FIRST ONE WAS NINE YEARS OLD REBUILT THE INSIDE A FEW YEARS AGO. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH ORIGINAL WAS OVER TIME THE WHEELS ON THE GRILL JUST DISINTERGRATED!!!!!!

Best grill I ever owned.
Very happy with performance. It outperforms my old Genesis Gold B. Didn't care for the packaging since the hinge pins were already installed. The grill is very heavy and expecting two retirees to lift it out of the deep packing box is not reasonable. Fortunately the pins are easy to remove and the box unpacked a piece at a time. Would have preferred stainless hinge pins since the ones on my old Genesis grill corroded, froze and broke, requiring stubs to be drilled out. When putting grill away, threading the NG hose back through the hole and coiling it up is a pain. It also takes up space on the cabinet floor. Some sort of hook fitted to the back panel of the cabinet with the hook inside would be great. There is sufficient room between the back panel and firebox to reach in with a coil of hose and hang it up.

Nat Gas is the way to go!
It was time to retire my 20+ year old Weber grill and this one did the job! Great grill. My only wish was that the gas line was longer. My guess is some regulation limits the length, but I'd still like another 5' or so. The features and benefits of the line of Weber grills is curious though. You'd think that as the grills got pricier, the features would naturally continue to add up. It seems that some lower priced grills have better features while some pricier grills lack them. Side shelves for example. They are stationary on mine, but I believe they are foldable on some less expensive models; go figure.

Great Product!
This is my second Spirit model so I was familiar with the features and performance. This one is natural gas since our new home has an outside connection on the patio. The grill heats up really quickly, maintains a consistent temperature, and has worked great for items cooked so far. It was fairly quick and easy to assemble with good directions. I always tell friends not to waste money on cheaper gas grills.

I loved my Genesis from Webber transition
Webber E315 we like it so far cooking great yet it is not the Genesis which we loved for the last 12 years. We down sized family and felt it was an acceptable switch time will tell. But my wife's only complaint is that it has gaps compared to the big brother. Bottom line we are encouraged we will get similar durability as it has to sit outside. She always has it covered and we cook on it 2 times or so per week.
