The accuracy of the cooking time. The safety feature of the door not opening when you stop the microwave.That feature protects my grandchildren..

My new Whirlpool microwave

If what you want to cook fits ths pre-set fine but have to search for the plus or minus is so unecessary when a key board would allow us select the time. the light is not much help either since it does not illuminate throurgh the door.

Cook times and not having burnt food

Another win for Whirlpool

I don’t know if it is more powerful as I no longer have the previous product info. The controls are intuitive and simply the easiest to cook efficiently.

Newer features are better from last older model
