I use natural powder dishwasher safe dish detergent and the washing machine does well to clean everything off my dishes. I like all the slots in the silverware tray, as it makes it easier to load and unload the washer.

My new Whirlpool dishwasher.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about two months ago. Love the convenience of the silverware tray. Happy it is not on the door as was my last dishwasher. Dishes come out sparkling and very easy to load. My only worry is the way the Finish dish rinse is supposed to be inserted. Seems to spill all over. Perhaps I am doing something wrong but I have read the directions for inserting and it still spills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After dealing with a leaky electrolux dishwasher that didn't know when it wanted to work for months, it was time for an update. I'm so happy we chose the whirlpool! The dishes always come out clean, the sanitizing rinse option is a great touch and is used very often when the kids are sick. There is ample room in the machine and it gets the job done, so far there have been no issues with it at all! I wish it would have an additional small top rack for baby bottle nipples and lids like many newer ones have but that's just personal preference. Overall it gets the job done with zero issues so far.

Normal cycle with heat sanitation is much shorter than a previous Samsung machine. But dishes are just as clean.
Glasses (true test) are spotless. Dishes squeaky clean.
Also, a plus, very quiet.
True test is how long it lasts, and if parts are reasonable, if needed.

If normal setting is chosen, then you have heat dry automatically. If you leave the door closed for a longer time after cycle is completed, then the interior will be totally dry. Being a plastic tub, it will not dry as soon as a stainless steel tub. so you could leave the door open for awhile, and it will dry all over. There are some things I wish were different, such as: tines in top rack would be two different lengths, and I would like top rack to hold more without being awkward. Also more sound deadening wrap.
