New Technology so much better !

Super quiet!

Exactly what we wanted

It’s quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a couple of weeks ago and did the removal and install with my kid. Installations video is okay, but gets the important points across (had my kid watching it for their education).
I bought this unit after researching different models to replace the basic and cheap Amana that kept failing us (motor went, sensors kept going out). Not sure how much longer it was in the house before we bought it 5 years ago, but I don’t want to repair something every 6-12 months.
Based on reviews of others this whirlpool model is supposed to last a long time. It’s certainly quieter than the Amana. We barely hear it when we have anything else going. Does a great job of cleaning everything we’ve thrown at it! I strongly recommend reading the operating instructions and loading accordingly for things to get clean.
If there’s 1 thing I’ve learned it’s that most folks can’t or won’t read and complain when the thing doesn’t work (and the answer is right in the book).
Time will tell if this unit lives up to the long term reviews and expectations for the price of this unit. For now I give it 5/5. It it fails earlier than expected I’ll attempt to edit or add to this review.

Great dishwasher for the price

1. Very quiet. We have an open floor plan, and with my last dishwasher I had to turn up the volume on the television when washing dishes.
2. Easy to use controls.
3. Adjustable top rack is very easy to use, and comes in handy at times.
4. Easily accessible filter. With my last dishwasher I practically had to crawl inside to access the filter in the back. I also needed to use a tool while in an awkward position. I am very happy with this filter arrangement.
The only thing I do not like about this dishwasher is the cycle time, but it seems to be comparable to most new dishwashers, so we will just live with it.

Great Dishwasher!

I originally bought a different brand but was very unhappy with the fact that the dishes were still not dry after all the extra drying time. This Whirlpool dishwasher cleans better and definitely drys the dishes! Yay!

The quietest dishwasher ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher has a very sleek design. No clunky handle in the front. Completely flat. Stainless steel has not had to be cleaned in two weeks. No fingerprints at all. The dishes are very clean. And it has got to be the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever owned. I can sit and watch TV about 10 feet away from it and cannot hear it. The only thing that bothers me is the door is very stiff and I have to push it open. But other than that, I really love my new dishwasher.

Will always buy a Whirlpool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes I did have to replace my old Whirlpool dishwasher but it worked well for many years and because of it's age I thought replacement was better than a repair. My new model is just another great Whirlpool product and functions very well. I do like the new forward look without the external handle or controls which are now on the top of the entry door. The 3rd top tray is another great feature. Looks very smooth and clean and fits perfectly. Thanks Whirlpool.

A really good dishwasher - at last!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this Whirlpool dishwasher for only 2.5 weeks, but find it to be rushing you could ask for. From the huge interior to the third top basket, to the stainless steel tub, it is a really well designed and constructed machine. Then there its best features: It gives you some well thought out choices of cycles, gets the dishes really clean and DRY, all the while quiet enough to have you going to check if it is running. We couldn’t be happier with it.

Great dishwasher. Not so bottom two racks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works beautifully and is so quiet. I also love the no fingerprint finish. It really is no fingerprints. I wish all my appliances were like that.
I don't like the way the tines are organized on the bottom rack. There is one section with no tines, thus a wide alley in the center. Can't figure out why it would be this way. Also, the middle rack can be moved up and down slightly. When in the full up position, it is still so low that I can't get much of what I used to wash in my bottom rack to stand up and be washed. I just discovered that you can lay down some tines in the middle rack, but I cannot figure out to do so. They seem to be firmly locked in place.

Love this thing.

Great Dishwasher - Extremely Quiet and Cleans Exce
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Whirlpool WDTA50SAKW 24” Stainless Steel Dishwasher with AI Intelligent Wash and have been very impressed with it so far.
The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is. At 47 dBA, you can barely tell it’s running. Even when standing in the kitchen, it’s easy to forget the dishwasher is on.
The AI Intelligent Wash feature does a great job adjusting the cycle to the load. Dishes come out very clean, even when we load it with pots, pans, and heavier food residue. Everything has been coming out spotless.
I also like the stainless steel interior and overall build quality. The racks slide smoothly, it holds a good amount of dishes, and the layout makes loading easy.
Overall, this has been a great upgrade from our previous dishwasher. It’s quiet, efficient, and cleans extremely well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and quiet dishwasher.

My question is why over 4 hours to run a single load. When we did the same cycles on our old dishwasher it only took half the time. We just don't want it running while we are in bed or away from the house. Other than that we are very satisfied and would recommend your products to others.
