Same $$ as the other brand, much better dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had 4 dishwashers, all from the same brand, one of them from their top line. This time I decided to try Whirlpool. I love this one. It feels better built and sturdier than even the high end other dishwasher. I like the organization of the 3rd rack. I can get my tall wine glasses in the 2nd rack. The bottom rack has enough space for bistro bowls and sauce pans. I can see the timer when the door is closed, and the red light lets me know it is drying in case I need something right away.

Excellent dishwasher for our needs

This one is surprisingly quiet and does a perfect job at washing dishes, glasses and silverware .
Especially the silverware on the top tray comes out spotless clean.
We are a two-person household and like to entertain and enjoy the heated drying that doesn't seem to be a frequent option these days.

The interior is spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to load everything from big pots to delicate glasses. It runs whisper-quiet too – a big plus when you have an open kitchen setup.
The only drawback is the cycle length. Most full washes take over 3 hours, which can add up on energy use if you're running it often. But with the performance and convenience it delivers, it’s a trade-off we’re willing to make. If you're looking for a high-tech, efficient machine that actually *thinks* for you, this Whirlpool dishwasher is a winner. Just plan your wash times accordingly!

Great dishwasher!

There is plenty of room on both levels for larger pots and pans, and the multi cycle options offer numerous choices to fit our cleaning needs. Even the quick wash option cleans dishes throroughly. The top level rack for specialty utensils is another great feature.

I like the hidden controls, the exterior handle, and the fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish. The appliance is super quiet and does a good job cleaning the dishes. Install did require a HD trip to change out branch pipe and get good hose clamp for unusual 1" boot on drain hose to fit on 7/8 branch
