Easy installation, worked perfectly

It works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd or 4th one over many years. This one is 1/2 versus 1/3 hp. I also worked for Whirlpool 2or3 years. Great company.

A great buy.

Now every thing in my kitchen is Whirlpool except my stove top. I haven't been able to find it in stainless steel.

Great product at a good price
Our 30 yr old disposal finally burned out and we replaced it with this new disposal.Works great and I am definitely expecting another 30 yrs out of this one!

Replacement disposer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace an existing disposer, that was likely original to the house when it was built some 25 years ago, because of a leak from around the sink flange. My original idea was just to replace everything but the disposer but that proved to be as much as a new disposer. So we went for the new disposer.
Installation was tight, as usual under a sink, but it was completed without any major problems; an existing power cord had to be replaced because of deteriorated conductor insulation.
We've had the unit installed for three weeks, and so far, there are no complaints. The unit sounds a bit different than the old one, but the old sound was something we heard for several years. Right now, with the short time we've had the unit installed, I'd say we picked a very good brand of disposer. Only time will tell how well it holds up to daily usage.

Great but Loud!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this for our new kitchen and it does work great. However, it is loud when running. We could have went with the lower horse power and it would have done the job just as well! The only thing I wish was that it was a little more compact for under-sink storage.
