It’s amazing. Sometimes I go out to my garage just to stare at my new gladiator fridge and freezer. The door pedal is such a cool feature and I love the way the fridge and freezer look together.

Great Additional Freezer Space for Garage
I was surprised at how quickly the freezer delivered. I had two dedicated outlets added to my garage (bought the fridge also) to make sure the appliance could run efficiently - so far, so good even in 100+ degree temps. Excellent space in the freezer and the foot pedal is very convenient.

Gladiator garage ready freezer
Perfect for my garage in Montana with its sub zero garage ready rating. I also like the fact that it is on castors and has a foot pedal to open the door when your hands are full. The interior is such that you can separate many different items for convenience. Am considering both freezer and refrigerator for my Kansas home. Great product!

The freezer works great. I love the setting for Deep Freeze. This helps for food you want to store for a longer period of time and prevent freezer burn. The machine is super quite too.

"WORTH THE WAIT" review Follow up
Absolutely no problems whatsoever after 17 months. No frost build up, no problems with the door closing properly and no other problems that others have reported. I still am very happy with the purchase. It is located in a garage on the eastern side of central Florida.

Cool Design!

The matte black design is cool and sleek and the fact that it’s on castors is just cool, although I haven’t been wheeling it around my garage. It looks great in my garage and doesn’t take up too much space. There is plenty of shelving, baskets, and storage in the door as well. i thought the foot pedal to open was sort of silly, but it’s actually really convenient and my kids love it too. The freezer got cold surprisingly fast after setting it up. There are 3 temperature setting which is a nice feature. We have been using the deep freeze option and our food is fantastically frozen. Every time we open the freezer and close it you hear it working to get back to the right temperature quickly. I would recommend this freezer to everyone I know.

Good looking freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far i'm very happy with this freezer. It looks good in the garage and does exactly what it's suppose to do. The foot pedal is a very user friendly when your hands are full and can't pull the door open. The heavy duty casters make it easy to move around and do a good job of locking down and keeping the freezer in place.
The settings are very simple with three different modes; soft serve, assorted, and deep freeze. I've tried all three settings and they all work like they're suppose to, but I keep it on assorted since I have a mixture of items in there. There is a very tight seal and so far it seems very efficient in the hot garage.

It took an extremely long time to get them…. Hopefully they’ve remedied that by now. Both the freezer and refrigerator have performed properly now for 18 months without issue. The foot plate is extremely handy.

Bought at Lowe’s via special order. They delivered Not assembled and dropped it in my garage and said they didn’t know how to assemble. I had to call the store and make them come back out and assemble. Not really a gladiator issue but dont use a box store for this freezer

Beautiful, Sleek and Exceeds Expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the prize winning "mare" of upright freezers. The almost matte black is gorgeous but means business. Soon as I turned it on it did not take long for the freezer to get ice cold. It performs immaculately. I have a 16, 18, and a 14 year old who raid this thing for frozen meals constantly. I'm surprised and impressed. Ironically even my 6 year old has no problem using the step stool opening tool. There is plenty of space in this stallion, and I can now actually use my refrigerator to make ice, since I can store all my frozen goods in my new freezer. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gladiator Freezer door ajar
The Freezer is awesome, problem was when I received it the door would not shut fully as the holes were drilled incorrectly on top of the freezer. Drilled new holes and it works lke it should now or I would have given 5 stars

Love it but it has door seal failure
Bought in Feb 2021 I thought the little ice buildup was due to the newness and Nebraska humidity as we removed and added items. We didnt open it for over a week and it has more frost in it than ever. After inspection, the top of the door seems warped which puts the seal too low on the door.. Luckily I bought the extended warranty and shouldnt have to be out any money for repair but still. QC work by the manufacturer is definitely lacking, thats being nice.

missing pieces
I mentioned to the delivery guys that the freezer is flat there's something missing... when they placed the freezer in its designated spot it wasn't leveled... they put a piece of card board...I said it doesn't look right.. whomever they called said there was no more pieces. After they left I checked on line for my exact order and exactly what I mentioned... there's pieces missing. I wouldn't recommend the delivery guys but overall so far nice appearance

Bought 1/22. 08/22, not cooling. Everything lost!
I bought this freezer January of 2022. August 2nd, 2022 I go to get something out of the freezer to cook, and everything is thawed out and ruined! Absolutely not cooling. The thought of the amount of ruined meat sickens me. I have a call into Whirlpool to put in a warranty claim. Let's see what happens. Extremely extremely upset.

Had issues after 4 months
Freezer came with a warped door and builds up frost. I have now been waiting for 4 months. Everything I put in there gets freezer burn. I have probably spent 8 hours on the phone trying to get answers. buy something else.

Freezer was DOA
Gladiator's quality control is lacking. First of all, I had to wait months for this freezer to be delivered but that is not unexpected with the world in lock down. When the freezer was finally delivered yesterday it did not work. It will not cool at all. In fact after 24 hours the freezer is warmer than the garage in Texas. There's no way this should have gotten past either Whirlpool or Gladiator's quality control but it did and now I'm having to wait over a week to get a repairman out here to figure out what is wrong with this brand new unused unit.... Very frustrating.
