Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prolongs life of produce I never realized how bad my LG refrigerator was, especially with produce, until I got my Kitchen Aid. I have produce in the drawer that lasts well past the expiration date (e.g. salad mixes). Maybe it's just the refrigerator is better, or the packets, but either way, I'm so happy with the performance.

These packets came with my new refrigerator and I was not really into using them, I thought they were just another "thing to buy". But I have used them, and there is a marked difference in how long the items in my produce drawer last. Worth the low cost of refills.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure if this accessory is necessary We purchased our fridge last year when we bought our first home. This filter, as I call it, has lasted about 9 months. Which is a lot longer than I expected, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary. I did not notice a difference in my produce. But I’m going to buy it again because it’s not that expensive. Gives you a piece of mind, I guess.
