After a couple of uses the coating started to chip off. I wasn’t scrubbing it when washing or using metal utensils on it. For the price it should not do that.

Not Worth the Price!
We purchased the griddle as an option when selecting our new gas top for a kitchen remodel. We use it for eggs and breakfast. We follow suggested cleaning, no abrasive tools, but it did not hold up! It has become an eyesore on our beautiful stovetop!

Very disappointed
This is my second griddle I purchased and I’m very disappointed in both. I use this griddle primarily in the morning for a couple of eggs. I like others don’t use metal utensils or harsh scrub brushes on the surface. The coating has not held up and it looks terrible sitting atop my black stainless stove. I would like to get another griddle but after buying 2 so far I’m hesitant to pay that price again. I hope the quality improves soon as I enjoy its purpose.

This review is just like all the others
I’ve only ever cooked pancakes and used silicone tools on this. The coating started to chip off after just a few uses. Now it looks like garbage! I hope I haven’t been poisoning my family.

Finish Comes Off After One Use
Purchased a new Kitchen Aid range that came with the griddle plate. Love how it fastens onto the range burners, but not very happy with the finish on the griddle plate. We used it one time and noticed that the finish was coming off. As a result, I’m rating this product as very poor.

Not worth the hype
This has a black plated coating. We had it 3 months and it scraped off even using silicone utensils.
6 pieces of bacon can fit in my skillet. So the surface area isn't that big.

Don’t waste your money!
Do not buy this griddle! The coating comes off within a few uses. I am so disappointed and expected better quality from KitchenAid!

Find a different griddle
Non stick finish does not last. In less than a year, the 'non stick' is completely worn away over the entire center of the griddle.

DO NOT BUY
This griddle came with our range and, after only a couple uses, is almost nonusable. Coating is coming off, food sticks and we have only used silicone utensils on it. I ordered another one and same issues. I would not recommend this to anyone. Very pricey and not worth the money. I'm sorry I purchased a second one.

Had this for less than a year before finish come off, not high quality...disappointed.
I'm looking for cast iron replacement, much cheaper and durable.
