Great AC unit with smart features and easy installation!
This AC unit was so easy to install and was so quiet that I ended up buying a second one for my son's room. I bought the smallest one for his room and its so quiet and perfect for his small nursery. Also that fact that I can control the AC unit from my phone helps when the temperature changes drastically in his room and I don't have to sneek into his room while hes asleep. Wonderful unit!

I love Windmill!
I have 3 Windmill AC units, they're all quiet, efficient, and a breeze to install! Replaced older (not too old) traditional window ac units, these inverter units are significantly quieter, and cost effective. We can sleep at night with the unit going in our bedroom, and the smart app makes using them a breeze.Thanks Windmill!

Pretty on the Outside (and inside)
While all of my neighbors have unsightly and rickety window bangers, my sleek Windmill sits gracefully perched in the window. I am stopped on the street with fingers pointing up above, "What is that??" I proudly declare, "She's a Windmill" Before you spend the money on mini-splits or central air, give the Windmill a try!

Don't hesitate, they're great!
We purchased three Windmill AC units at the same time after unexpectedly needing to replace our previous brand, and we couldn’t be happier. Affordability was important, but so was finding something that was both powerful and quiet—especially with Chicago summers that regularly hit well over 100°.We keep our window units installed year-round since radiator heat can be unpredictable, and even in the coldest months our home can feel uncomfortably warm. Because of that, we also wanted something that looked great and wasn’t an eyesore. Windmill delivered on every front.I was initially drawn to the simple, clean design, but the performance has been just as impressive. We’ve used these units for three seasons now with zero complaints. Bonus points for the seamless Google Home integration—we love being able to adjust the temperature remotely and keep our dogs comfortable when we’re away.

Very quiet
We needed a better AC to cool our first floor area and our old one was so loud and inefficient. I saw an ad for Windchill and figured we give it a try. Needless to say I want to purchase more to put in other areas of my house. Really glad I got one! Highly recommend.

Best Window AC Unit by FAR!
Before purchasing the Windmill AC Unit, I tried a more established brand and ended up returning it within two weeks—it was loud, difficult to use, and barely made a difference in the room’s temperature. As soon as I installed the Windmill, the difference was immediate. The air felt fresher, the sound level is perfect (more like subtle white noise than an AC unit), and the sleek design fits seamlessly into my space.The app is also incredibly user-friendly, which makes controlling everything easy. I would choose this unit again and again over other brands. My only suggestion would be to offer additional window insulation or panel sizes—my window is unusually wide, so I had to DIY and cut extra insulation to make it work.Aside from that minor issue, I absolutely love this AC, and the customer service team has been amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the Best Designs
I haven't seen any AC's look this modern which is one of the main reasons why I got it. It's also quite compact for the BTU's it delivers. The app is a plus when I'm away from home or even when I am home and too lazy to get up. Would recommend.

I have had my windmill AC for 3 years now. It's the best window unit I've ever used. It's pretty quiet & very easy to clean. I love that the air blows up at an angle so I can still have things in front of it, but also because I really hate when the air blows straight on me. That's probably my favorite thing.

Solid AC unit
I live in 100 year old building with 4 exposures (n,s,e,w). We have to rely on AC units to keep our apt cool. We bought 3 units and it has seriously helped. The units are understated, not obnoxiously loud and best of all the app woes quite well to turn the units on before we get home. It’s so easy to program them to turn on and off that it almost feels like central air because when we come home it’s actually cool! I had an issue with one unit and the customer service was also great. Stand out product and buying experience.

I needed to replace a 15-year-old 5000 BTU A/C this summer since it wasn’t cooling as effectively (and my town offered a rebate for recycling inefficient appliances). I’d seen ads and reviews of the Windmill, so I convinced my wife to let me order it. The install was very easy. The most difficult part was taking out the old unit. Controlling the unit via the app is easy, and I like the energy use meter. We also go out of town once a year, so the ability to start it the day before we return is very helpful (much better than returning to a 90°+ house). I also ordered one of the interior covers, and it’s doing a great job of keeping the cold weather from getting in during this winter storm.

I love my Windmill Air conditioner
I have a small house in upstate New York that is about 1000 ft.2 and my 10,000 BTU Windmill Air extremely quietly cools the whole house even in the hottest days of the summer. It’s attractive, easy to change filters on, and extremely quiet, which is what I really need since I sit very close to it in my living room. It is certainly the best air conditioner I’ve ever had and I have suggested it to many people. It is well worth the money spent. I have now gone through two summers with my Windmill Air and I can report that it runs like a charm.J Lotus

Best window AC ever!
I've gone through many window AC units but Windmill is by far the best. The installation is seamless and easy since the unit itself is so sleekly designed, no rough or sharp edges that could scrape you. Having it be able to pair with a phone app makes its use that much simpler, it's really a breeze. And it's so much more quiet than any other brand I've used. You can finally hear the TV even when the unit is on full blast, which is something that we used to overcome by using close captioning because other brands were so loud. We have 2 Windmill units now, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. If we ever needed another we would for sure get it from them. We can't recommend Windmill enough.

Wonderful AC
This AC is great! It is so quiet, perfect for my living room. I really appreciate being able to control the unit on the app on my phone so I can make adjustments for my dog or turn it back on before I get back from a trip so my apartment is cool by the time I get home. Exactly what I was hoping for
I purchased this window air conditioner because my husband and I like to keep our bedroom cold at night for sleeping but I didn't want to waste energy cooling down and heating up our whole house. This was the perfect solution – easy to install without any special equipment and way quieter than any other window air conditioner I've ever used. We went with one just a little more powerful than we needed for our space because we wanted the quieter motor and I'm happy with our choice. I also like that it will be easy to take with us to another house if we move again since it is not a permanent installation.

Total Game Changer
Windmill is the best AC I've ever owned! Incredibly easy to install, very efficient (which is a challenge with 100+ year old, single pane windows) and most importantly phenomenally quiet. I've had such a great experience with Windmill, this is the third unit I've purchased. One for my bedroom, one for my downstairs and one for my wife's office. The bluetooth controlling during the summer is a huge plus!

Pre-Civil War home in southwest Ohio
I ordered the smallest Windmill AC for our 2nd floor hallway in our brick row house built circa 1850 in southwestern Ohio. Why on earth, you may be asking?- the summers are hot and muggy, with weeks well over 95 degrees and nights that just don't cool off.- our house is tall and narrow. 4 floors, including the stone basement, and everything is brick/stone so the heat hangs on in summer. In winter it's great, in summer you just want to lay on the floor in your swimsuit and drink Gatorade.- oddly enough, we have central A/C through out the 1st and 2nd floors and a mini-split system in the finished attic. It was an airflow issue. The ceilings are nearly 11 feet and with teenagers than kept their doors shut unless they were actively using their doors, the 2nd floor had zero circulation. Heat built up in the hallway where there wasn't an A/C vent and it was impossible to install one because the cool air from the ground floor forced it upwards. The attic mini-spits weren't designed to maintain CONSTANT, UNYIELDING action and were struggling to keep up with the warm air perpetually floating upstairs. The energy bill was ballooning wildly out of control and with my bedroom, bathroom, and work from home office in the finished attic, something had to be done.With one window 22 inches wide in the hallway, I ordered the 6k BTU unit and crossed my fingers. Installation took 3 minutes. The unit was directly across from my husband's office and he couldn't notice any background noise, even with the door open. Within the afternoon, the hallway was the same temperature as the rest of the house and the upstairs system shut off for the first time in weeks.That would have been enough for me, I was already celebrating. Over the rest of the summer, my energy bill was down roughly 40% despite having an additional AC unit. I've recommended it to several neighbors who suffered from the same issue and have a similar layout.

Bought a Windmill for our bedroom window to augment a dying central air system this past summer. Very happy with our choice!Installation is easy. If you’ve installed other air conditioners, you can definitely install a Windmill. If you haven’t installed an air conditioner before, the Windmill is very approachable and the very clear instructions take any guesswork out of the process.This is a design-forward product, and I do appreciate the thought that was invested in its appearance. Certainly more attractive than most window air conditioners, both inside the house and outside. Not an eyesore!It’s straightforward to operate, and I found the smart/connected functionality to be quite welcome and useful. Overall, it’s worth the investment, easy to live with, and even easier to recommend!
