The future of window a/c’s
These Windmill air conditioners set a new standard for the window a/c market. From the non invasive, sleek design and quiet efficient operation, to the second to none customer service and care, they are what all window air conditioners should be from here on out. They don’t cost much more than the old noisy, uneven air, obnoxious ones do either, and with their deals and discounts they are pretty much the same, but you get a much better quality unit, that truly looks good hanging out of your window. To anyone who is in the market for a new window a/c, I would highly recommend the Windmill. We now have 2 and I will not buy anything else.

Love!
Vaulted ceilings and I was skeptical...but it kept my house an amazing 69° during the last heatwave. 12k BTU version. Simple to install. It's pretty quiet, too, which is great for being on work video calls. Love it.

Good customer service
Easy to install, very user friendly. Easy to set up app. Unfortunately my unit was one that started making a loud motor noise, which you might see in some other reviews. However they have really good customer service. After sending a few videos they sent me a replacement! Francesca and Rachel and others were very responsive and nice. The new unit is nice and quiet. Make sure you register your unit!

I am so happy with this tiny sleek mighty window unit. After a day of running it felt like I had central air. It’s fabulous. Keeps the whole apartment/ room cool and the air rises so it really feels like central air. It’s sleek and really attractive and very minimalist. I replaced my old ac unit and it is quite the upgrade. Love all the panels too makes it sealed and attractive. Very pleasing to the eye. Keeps you cool. Love being able to control it with my phone. So awesome. Thank you. Truly life changing design for a New Yorker.

Stood by your product!
I purchased a Windmill AC in June of 2025. I used it during the summer of 2025 and put it away in the fall. When I pulled the unit out for this summer I noticed that not long after installing it the unit was not blowing cold air. I contacted Windmill and was worried that since it had been slightly over a year since I had purchased it (like many companies) I would hear that my year warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do. To the credit of Windmill, they stood by their product and replaced my unit with a new unit at no cost to me. Special thanks to Van who helped me with troubleshooting and the case review process on their end. Nice to know there are companies willing to stand by their product.

Outstanding Customer Service
I am very pleased with this window AC unit. It is very quiet and looks great. The magnetic cover on the front is a great design making it so easy to takeoff and clean the air filter. The windmill app is simple and straightforward, making it easy to use as well. The only problem I had was with the included remote control not working. I contacted customer service and had a reply from Rachel within 10 minutes! She suggested a simple fix, which did not work and so she had a new remote sent out to me which I received within three days. The new remote is working great. Thanks!

Great Customer Service
We had an issue with a new unit and got a replacement within a week of initiating contact - new unit was delivered in time for a big heat wave where we live in Southwest Colorado. We had an easy time setting up the unit and love the Wi-Fi interface. I highly recommend Windmill!

Great AC, Even Better Customer Support
We've been using the Windmill AC in our kids' room and overall really like the design and quiet operation. After about a year of use, our unit started glitching and beeping intermittently. I reached out to Windmill's support team, and even though we were technically just past the standard warranty window, they went above and beyond to make it right and approved a replacement unit for us. The process was smooth, communication was clear, and the team was genuinely helpful and responsive every step of the way — especially given we were dealing with this during a heat wave with young kids at home. It's rare to see a company stand behind their product like this. Highly recommend Windmill both for the product itself and for how they treat their customers when something goes wrong.

A great new A/C unit
This is our second Windmill unit that we own. The first one we got about 5 years ago and has been great in our bedroom. This summer our old wall unit died and I thought I would try Windmill again, only this time I was going to get the largest unit the have. This unit is 120 volt A/C which is nice since our old unit was 240 volt A/C. Now we can put the new unit in our living room window instead of the wall that exhausted into our garage which left the garage like a sauna. This new A/C unit is so quiet that at first after installing it I honestly thought it was broken and not working lol. An extra awesome benefit of this new one too is the iphone app so I can turn it on an hour before we come home from work and have the room cold. These new units are amazing and I will most likey buy another one for our bedroom since it so quiet.

Super sleek little machine, and love having a window unit that doesn’t need to have the ugly brackets on the outside. The eco mode has been game changing, as all our other ac units are either on or off all the time. This thing has me wanting to upgrade all our existing units!

Quiet, Cool, and Apartment Approved
Never thought I’d describe an air conditioner as chic, but here we are. 😆 My bougie Windmill keeps the apartment cool, runs surprisingly quietly, and doesn’t make my window look like every other clunky NYC AC. The app control is a huge plus, and overall it’s been worth every bit of summer sanity.

Easy and works well
Delivery was quick and installation was fairly simple. The only "wish" I could voice would be for the top plastic "Rim" of the unit w the holes for screws (that goes against the sash of the window you pull down on it) was a bit taller. It would make it easier to ***** into the sash/frame of the window. It is likely a design issue with my window, but a taller frame/center attachment hole would have resolved the challenge. App works well and we are sleeping cool! All good news.

Amazing customer service and great AC units
Bought 2 Windmills, an 8,000 and a 10,000 last summer. Both were easy to install and while th 8,000 was quiet as promised, the 10,000 was pretty noisy. Eventually, I checked my warrenty and sent a message about the noisy unit and within a week Windmill had sent me a replacement! Along the way there was great communication from real people who made the process easy. Cannot say enough about the company's people and product quality. Thanks!

Warranty
Used unit for one season and it stopped working by blowing cold air. Did all the trouble shooting and still did not work. It was replaced under warranty. I love it and hope first unit was a fluke and this one last longer.
