Nice to feel more safe at home
First time customer of the Yale Smart Deadbolt Lock Set. The product was easily installed taking about an hour from start to finish.
The associated Phone Web Application was as well easy to understand and easy to setup the configuration and network using my WiFi.
I have owned the product and app for two weeks now and continue to be very happy with the Lock overall.
It is nice to know that my door is locked using the app no matter where I’m at and to also know when someone unlocks the door and who they are.
I only have one developer suggestion, provide a status in the app at what % consumed is the battery. I would not want to be locked out of my own home and not have the physical key.

Never had considered this type of lock. One of my children convinced me & now I love it! In this day &age we all rely so heavily on our phones and other tech, it’s great to not rely on a physical key!

A Must Have
I purchased the Assure Lock 2 on impulse when I saw it was HomeKit compatible at such a great price. The WiFi version was not in the store at the time. Everything was easy to set up with HomeKit but to utilize the lock at its full potential this WiFi module is a must. There are a number of feature this module allows but the main one is being able to put people we grant access on a schedule.

Great option!
I purchased a Yale lock with key option and needed a new module and key w/ cylinder. Borh were easy to install and even better, i didn't need the bridge to operate from other locations because the module was set for it already.

Yale wifi smart module
Easy to install and setup. Very reliable and works with other smart home apps. 4 stars and not 5 only because I personally think it's a little expensive.

Good for newer models.
Works great on 216 model, but would not work on earlier model. Per Tech Support it is not compatible with Gen 1, so I had to return one of the two modules I ordered. It works great in the 216 lock, and integrates fine with Google Nest. I don't know about battery life, I'm going to see how long it will operate on a new set of batteries until it dies (not just sends alert)

HomeKit connection error
It advertise that it’s connects to the apple HomeKit and I have tried multiple times and I always get an error message. Thankfully I already have the google home but why should I have to download a new app if it says it supported by HomeKit?

I’m not sure
I was excited to see a smart lock on the market that looks like it’s from this decade. The install was not a problem. But the calibration for the door sense ( one of the core features of buying this product) it took a frustrating amount of playing with and that is following the instructions. Features you want to use require the WiFi module sole separately and it requires Bluetooth the access settings. Leave and come back again and good luck if the Bluetooth connects. Yes it is smart but seems like it has a long way to go to meet a standard. Maybe I need to sit and play with it more but I believe anything out of the box should do the bare minimum and this product is coming up short. Debating on returning….

Your lock is overpriced and does not work well.
The lock is fine. Can’t get the Wi-Fi to unlock from a distance. Not worth the money

Battery drains every month
Don't buy this product, nor the lock that comes for it; drains the battery every month; we have replaced the product and the same happens, read the other reviews about the same problem before making your decision

Poor design
The module does not easily insert in place. Do to this, the male connection prongs on the inside of the lock were bent upward rendering the lock useless for Wi-Fi capability. So for me, the Smart Module was a waste of a significant amount of money.

Poor Connectivity
I had the module with the outlet Connect and switched over to the one with on module Wifi. I get disconnects at least twice a week. I upgrade my home network myself and know what I am doing. This product is no more than 6 feet from my router and somehow gets disconnected very often. I would recommend getting the Connect module if you have a spare plug near by.

Looking for a more commercial grade lever- Will the wifi module work with YALE NEXTOUCH NTB612. Nextouch accepts ZigBee/ Z-Wave module- but no information to confirm wifi module- Thank you in advance.
I'm sorry, I have no knowledge of the Nextouch Lock or ZigBee module. My WIFI is a Lynksys MX4000 Series WIFI 6 System. I only get a message stating that the Module is not compatible with 5G when I attempt to program the Yale Smart module. RT

Can you manage all your locks and passwords in one app? Can you select which locks have which passwords and not add them to locks you don't want people to access?
Hi - Yes! You can do all of this from the Yale Access app - from anywhere! You can give someone "owner" access so that they have access to all locks and devices in the home - or you can give someone access to just select locks/devices. You can also give temporary or scheduled access.
