A Great Choice
Although it is very expensive, it seems top shelf so far in features and performance. I looked into many different designs, but needed to fucus on 2 things. The first was warranty and durability. My use of my kitchen often outdoes some restaurants. The hood is used extensively. I have gone through several hoods in the past that were supposed to be of good quality. The second issue is the slim design. My last hood was a "quality" brand, but I have many bruises from bumping my head on the gawking profile and sharp corners. The location of the hood is beneath a cabinet, a feature that I would never design into a kitchen again. I also liked the fact that when I called the company beforehand with questions, I was immediately answered by a real person who was knowledgeable about the product. Add to all this the fact that it is American made. On the negative side, P.C. Richard took an inordinate period of time to get the item installed. The first appointment was a no-show. and it was about a month before the job was complete. This meant a lot of smokey times in my kitchen as the old hood was on its last days. When they got here though, they did a great job, arriving when they said they would and were neat, quick and efficient. I chose P.C because they service what they sell and am looking forward to seeing that.

Amazingly great exhaust fan
Installed a month ago. I have lung issues and this fan saved me from leaving the room when frying a steak or other smoke generating foods. In addition, it is easy to clean. I use to dread cleaning my previous hood because it was difficult to remove the residue cups and fan drip system. Hurt my neck everytime. I didn’t know what I was missing until this new Typhoon fan was installed. Thank you!

Must have to control the smell from spreading.
It is perfect for sucking all the smell if you do heavy cooking. Which we often do. It was perfect for our loiter kitchen!

Excellent product
I bought my first Zephyr Typhoon Range Hood 17 years ago and was very happy with it. It would probably still be working if I hadn’t put 50 Watt LED bulbs in the sockets. This Range Hood fit perfectly under my custom made cabinet which was the original reason I bought it. It worked so well I was delighted I could replace it with almost the same model.

A fabulous Hood
I bought this hood about a week ago. I had a microwave above our stove which finally kicked the bucket. When I went to replace it I found out that I could not get a size to fit in the area above my stove, so I decided to look for a hood. I finally fell in love with this hood.
It was perfect, small, easy instructions and was told it would do the job. It really does the Job. I LOVE IT. I knew it would be great as soon as I saw it on display.

Zephyr 30" a great choice
The Zephyr 30" was a great choice. The exhaust fan are very powerful and has several settings. The lighting has several settings and I also love the delayed off system for the exhaust fans.
