There is lots of room for extra bottles of milk, butter condiments, salads, and cooked foods you want to keep cold. Freezer has nice features - a pullout drawer, easy access to ice from the ice maker. Easy to get to everything in the freezer. The outside is beautiful. We couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Fridge I'm coming off a Samsung tRefrigerator hat gave me problems for years so this is so far, a dream - it's only been 4 days. Lights are brighter, it is easier to organize, food is kept much cooler. I appreciate that the controls are much less byzantine, I do not need to look up or remember a bunch of special key-holding patterns. I've had a GE profile oven for over 10 years and it has been a solid, no-bells-and-whistles workhorse. I've done my own repairs on the unit. Aesthetics are nice and clean lines, nothing fussy...classic American, I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT UPGRADE FOR US so much more room than the side by side we replaced. Looks nice with our new stove. The stainless handles are a plus. Getting used to the bottom freezer. Just a matter of "getting organized" so I know where to find things and learning which items are frequently used so I can get them quickly. This frig has a door alarm. I think this is because we have had to purposely close the door as opposed to giving it a shove as we walk away. A learning thing.

New Fridge is making ice with some black residue on it. Have already dumped the first 3 buckets of ice, but it is still making this dirty (?) Ice.

You didn’t really ask a question, but what you’re describing is not normal or acceptable.  I’m not having any issues with the new fridge or the ice maker.  Sounds like you need a service call.
