best machine I have ever bought

Comments about Kitchen-Aid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer - Empire Red:

I have had my machine for years and carry it with me when I go to bake at other houses. I used to take it to my daughters house until my son-in-law bought one for her last Christmas and she loves hers also.

    Kitchen love!

Comments about Kitchen-Aid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer - Empire Red:

Loving my new kitchenaid mixer. It's a dream. My only disappointments are relatively small. The motor is a tad noisy and the metal mixing bowl tends to spot--but I think this may be my hard water. Worth every penny!

    Average Mixer

Comments about Kitchen-Aid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer - Empire Red:

I bought this only because my first Kitchenaid mixer died on me. I had my first mixer for over 10 years and it was a solid machine. The newer models are not made like the older models. The mixing attachments aren't the same (not heavy duty, lightweight) I have a tough time attaching/unattaching them from the arm. The spill shield is a joke, it doesn't cover the entire bowl only half so the mixture in the bowl escapes through that opening, the older version of the shield covers entire lip of bowl. In the end, I think I should have researched mixers a little bit more. I only bought Kitchenaid bc my last machine was awesome! The new ones are cheaply made, sad to say!

I received this for a gift and I absolutely LOVE it!! I have other mixers and have had others in the past. I never thought I would have one of these. I use it all the time, for candies, cakes, cookies, breads, sauces and frostings. I have the shredder attachment and make hash browns for week-end breakfasts. I also shred my zucchini and freeze for future baking needs. It works great for mixing meatloaf too. I could go on and on...did I mention I LOVE my Kitchenaid MIXER!!!

So far I have only tried to make fresh butter. Although very messy I absolutely loved doing it. So easy. This machine is awesome.

    Red Beauty

    By Cheribaby

Comments about Kitchen-Aid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer - Empire Red:

It was getting too hard to hold my hand-held mixer to whip cream, so I invested in a beautiful red Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer. What a difference! My whipped cream is firm and my arms are don't ache. I also prefer a mixer that has the tilt-head as it is so much easier to remove the beater. Another feature is the splatter shield. No more wiping down the cupboards after using the mixer!

So far have not used it much.... I am sure it will become more useful as I get other attachments and as I figure which tool to use with my own recipes.
