Works well, a little noisy.
Works well. A loud unit. Remote Wi-Fi does not work. Forget it. Also Note: ALL portable AC units work basically at half the BTU rating on box for a bunch of reasons. Keep that in mind when figuring out what you need. Consider a windows unit if possible.

Great cooling and quieter than expected
The CCP12SA really cooled our southern-exposure 18’ x 15’ living room well and quickly, and it’s much quieter than expected. This unit feels like it can handle very hot, humid weather when summer arrives — if not, we’ll revise our rating, yet don’t currently think that will be necessary at all.

Great compact size. Not too noisy. Fairly easy to install hose to window (I needed help). Cools large bedroom in 20-30 minutes. One of the most expensive but worth it.

Air conditioner works excellent. Easy to set up and move to different rooms. Operation is simple with either controls on unit or remote. Cools room quickly and has a lot of power. Unit is built strong, and its easy to clean filters. I would highly recommend this air conditioner.

Great unit for the money...
It's a great unit for the money: easy to connect to wifi and control via app. The small footprint doesn't "eat up" a room. It is a bit louder than my last comparable model, but that's not a deal breaker. Wish the swing/breeze feature moved L/R vs U/D. Otherwise it's a gem.

Not so COOL!!
I was not at all satisfied with this Portable Friedrich AC unit. It was easy to set up and has casters so it can be moved/wheeled around easily however, it did not cool the room to the temperature it was set at and was very, very noisy when running. The unit constantly goes into a pause mode where it stops blowing cool air and I am not sure what causes this as the room thermostat is still reading higher then the unit is set for. The other drawback is that it needs to have whatever water accumulates inside the unit drained every day or two. The port where the water needs to be drained from is at the back of the unit almost touching the floor making it impossible for the water to be collected without tilting the uniting from an elevated step/ledge so the collection container is below the outflow port!! Very inconvenient!

Quiet, does provide needed cooling. However the hose connection is terrible at both the unit and window. At the unit the hose does not stay attached to the band. If you move the unit it comes apart. At the window the hose to the sliding board does not fit snuggly and the warm air escapes back into the room. We had to use a towel to prevent this.

Difficult to Install
This unit was very very hard to install. I was hoping to be able to move it around during the course of the summer, but I’m concerned I won’t be able to get it back in the window. If your windows are not brand new up to date vinyl, then stay away from this unit.

I was not aware that you could not return this product, i placed it in my bedroom and the hose was totally in the way of my sleeping area in my bedroom. tried to return it but was denied, this is the last time I buy an ac unit at Pc Richards.

Terrible output and smells in 1 week
I purchased this A.C. not even a week ago. It advertises as 13 000 BTU but box says 11,000 BTU. Air flow is weak and not cold, even after two hours. Third time using it and my room smelled like mold. Disgusting. I am definitely returning to store.

Whatever you set the temp at. It works great and gets cold fast. You can set it from the mid-60's on up and its very accurate. I love this A/C.

The sound is not very loud. No different than any other air condition. Actually on the low setting its very quiet. Very impressed by this model.
