Crushed the event with mesquite flavor!!
Got my Mesquite pellets in time to cook for my Dad’s 80th b day party! I am just as happy with these Mesquite pellets as I’ve always been with Traeger Hickory pellets! These provided an awesome flavor and I’m very pleased that there is very little ash! The food for the party turned out great and I got lots of comments and people asking what I did to get such a good smoke flavor on the ribs!!

Treager is Fantastic
I just want to let everyone know how satisfied I am with Treager. I bought a bag of mesquite pellets and while I was pouring the pellets into my hopper a large chunk of pellets came out of the bag. It appeared as though the bag had got wet and crushed a large quantity of pellets too pretty much glue itself into a hard ball of wood. So I called Treager customer care after 7pm and the person that answered my call was very friendly and after a few moments of getting some information from me the lady not only replaced my bag of mesquite pellets, but she replaced my entire order (bag of signature blend).
This totally made my evening!

Mesquite is the best of all!
I use Mesquite pellets for absolutely everything I find it gives just the right kind of smoke I'm looking for. It's not overly strong or weak not spicy but not wimpy just right. I've used it for baking biscuits and cookies smoking beef pork chicken turkey elk deer grouse all kinds of fish brats and anything else you can think of. If you had to only have one type of pellet this is the one!

Ash on the grill and food
I bought the 1300 about a month ago. I love the simplicity of the unit. But what I did notice was a fine layer of ash on the outside, inside and on the brisket. I read that this is a problem with other pellets as well.

Misleading ~ Contains Harmful Oils
I posted a review a few months ago regarding your use of harmful oils in the pellets that are not disclosed on your packaging. You did not post the review. I am extremely disappointed in Traeger for not disclosing the addition of toxic oils ~ it is for the consumer to decide what oils they choose to consume, but that is only possible if you list the ingredients.

VERY LITTLE TRUE MESQUITE
I have tried several bags of the Traeger Mesquite Pellets and they definitely do not taste of Real Mesquite. I live in an area where we cut our own mesquite for offsets and the taste does not taste of Mesquite Smoked Meat as does the Mesquite that i collect and use. This must be blended with Oak or something else because the flavor is just not there as in pure Mesquite.
