Good basic washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this basic washing machine. The capacity is great, and I like that it has a sensor to determine the water levels so I don't have to guess.
I wish that the user manual had more information about the different cycles so I can pick the best one.
It would be nice if there were a way to quickly unlock the lid after the cycle starts for those times when you find one more item you want to toss in a few minutes after you hit the start button.
Otherwise it is a good value for the price and it meets our needs well.

Good Choice

Best washed ever!

Great Value!

We sometimes need to check to assure that it is actually agitating. We were also very pleased with the price of the unit. So, based on everything we have experienced so far, this is a great value for the money.

Wonderful Washer “W” and Delightful Dryer “D”!

Each and every morning; I go into the laundry room and say, “Good morning and good night W and D. Having a washer and dryer in my apartment is absolutely terrific!

Second Amana purchase in 15+ years!

Simple machine with great features and performance

The house we bought had a competing brand that was larger capacity and had no agitator. After 3-years with that machine, we replaced it with this Amana. Glad we did. It is so much quieter, has deeper water, and does much better at balancing its loads for spinning.

Solid washer for amazing price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this washer along with an amana dryer a few months ago after moving into a new place. We have been using this almost daily since and have not had one single issue. Our baby has sensitive skin and requires a separate wash with their clothes so sometimes we do two loads a day. It still runs and looks brand new, clothes come out perfect every time, whether it is a very small or a large load. We use pods and liquid detergent, each work beautifully. Would definitely recommend this top loading washer to people who do many loads of laundry, as it is very durable and an economically sound choice.
