Great tablet

My daughter uses it for educational purposes because everything on the tablet is educational. I love the case it’s for durable and great for kids. The tablet is pretty fast and decent. Great Tablet for Little Kids

It is a fantastic product and is something he can watch his shows on and it has limited apps so there's not too much going on for him to get distracted with. Its also great for reading stories, but shouldn't replace the old fashioned books.

Amazon fire 7 is Amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Amazon Fire 7 tablet for kids is absolutely wonderful! It comes with a very durable case attached so you don't need to worry about drops, which are prone to happen. The tablet is basically turn on and go! You put in a little information and your child is ready to use it in less than 10 minutes. I love how the adult is able to customize the tablet depending on what you're comfortable with the child being able to do and for age. I have a 6 year old and 13 year old and they both adore it! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

This saves us on long drives
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 2yo daughter recently because we were going on a long drive across California and I really needed something to keep my daughter distracted. I am happy with the Amazon Fire for a few reasons. One reason is that it has a nice cover that is easy for her to hold and difficult for her to destroy. I also like that it has so many parental controls and I don't have to worry about her venturing off on weird YouTube channels. My daughter loves the fire and I love it for her.

Love it!! Perfect!!

It comes in a great case for the tablet to help keep it safe from little hands dropping it. There is a built-in stand for the tablet. This is a great starter tablet for my granddaughter she is 3 years old. There are numerous apps to choose from for this tablet and age appropriate. I love that it has parental controls to prevent little ones seeing things they should not see. The price is very affordable, and it is not overly priced. The case that it comes with makes it very durable especially when little ones are so rough on their items. This is great to take on road trips to help keep the little one entertained for a short or long road trip. I would definitely recommend this tablet to my friends and family.

I noticed with iPad they are distracted by other apps/videos etc. This gives a fun learning experience without all the distractions. Comes with a hard case that has a stand as well.

Great tablet for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We 1st bought a Fire 7 tablet (9th Gen) for my daughter when she had turned the age of 3. This is a great starter tablet for a kid! Inexpensive and usable. Granted it not the fastest tablet on the market but kid won’t notice the difference. If anything, she will appreciate it even more when she gets older and is able use a faster tablet. My daughter been using this Fire 7 tablet for almost 4 years, and it rock solid. The only issue we have is the micro-USB charge ports is starting to give out. It no longer making a good connection to the charging cable connector. The tablet can still charge but you must push and angle the connector just right for it to start charging. We paid like $30 for this thing so I would definitely say we got our money’s worth. It was just time to upgrade. We got the opportunity to get the new Fire 7 tablet (12th Gen) Kids Edition. This newer tablet is similar to our old tablet in many ways. Besides having the same screen size and an expandable storage port, it does have a few upgrades. 1 major upgrade is the charging port. It now has a USB-C charging port which is awesome because it the same charging port as our phones. Previously, when we traveled anywhere with her and her tablet, we had to ensure that we had a cable that could fit her tablet. Now she can just use the same cable that we use to charge our phone, to charge her tablet. Other upgrades include a faster processor and more RAM, which in turn make the newer tablet run faster and the more battery efficient. This Kid Edition tablet came with a durable kid’s case with a built-in stand, and it also included a 1-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ content. I really like this subscription because it allows her to ONLY download ad-free games and watch ad-free videos. You can set an ‘age filter’ to where it will only display the age-appropriate content. You can refine the filter even further by manually removing/blocking certain Kids+ content. The tablet also allows you, as a parent, to set screen time allowance, the time of day that the tablet can be used (weekdays vs weekend), and goals. I set a goal on the tablet to where she must read for at least 30mins a day before the tablet will enable any type of entertainment content. What I love most about this new tablet is that it no longer loads any ads on the lock screen! Overall, my daughter loves this new tablet and so do we.

Perfect for toddlers!

My daughter enjoys it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my daughter a little over a week ago and she really enjoys playing on it. There is so much to do from playing games to watching videos and clips of her favorite shows and it came with a year of amazon kids plus which was absolutely wonderful in my opinion because it keeps her busy. It was easy to set up and login with our personal account. I love the case the quality of the case is super great as I bought this for my six year old daughter she has a tendency to drop them from time to time and this one is holding up just great. It also keeps a good charge to where we don’t really charge it daily maybe every other day or every two days we charge it and it’s good to go and that is with her using it a couple hours each day to pass the time when home. Another great thing I personally liked was the educational videos and games that comes with it she really enjoys some of those games which makes me super happy. There is also a handle on the case that makes it very easy to
Grip and hold while playing which I’ve seen her use pretty often and it can be folded down when storing in my opinion it’s a great little tablet for the kids and the quality is perfect.

Suitable for my 4 year old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves all the applications already loaded onto the device. All of the content are appropriate for my daughter. The device has movies, books, games, and tv shows. The protector case is exactly what is needed for my clumsy child. The platform is easy to navigate. There are power buttons and volume buttons on the side. To switch in and out of the application, you just have to swipe up and select the circle. My daughter learned how to use the Fire within a few minutes. Great device for a curious mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon tablet is such an awesome tablet for kiddos. The tablet has a kid proof case because we all know kids can be clumsy sometimes. The screen is 7” allowing a big enough screen to learn, play, and watch on. Upon receiving there is a 1 heard subscription included and 2 years worry free, what a plus! It can hold a total of 2gb with a as a lot up to 1tb granting you access to download more apps. The table is accessible to over 20,000 app downloads. If you want to be on the safe side and not worry about your kiddo clicking on anything else, parental controls can be added. The case can be opened to stand in two different ways allowing your kid to be hands free while watching. The apps are very easy to download and the device is very easy to set up and maneuver. It has a camera and speaker at the top of the screen so your kiddo can take pictures! The on/off, volume button and charging port is all located on the same side. This tablet has been a great resource for my little one. She loves to play learning games on it, and watch videos while all on the go!

Perfect for kids

Good tablet for preschool kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fire 7 Kids tablet is geared for toddlers and preschool kids. This tablet comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB of storage which would be sufficient for basic use. The storage can be further expanded upto 1 TB using a microSD card, if needed. The display screen is 7” and the picture quality is decent for toddler usage. There are 2 cameras and both the front and the rear one are of 2 MP resolution. There is a built-in microphone, a stereo headphone jack, a USB-C port and a speaker on the top.
Parent dashboard is easy to use and allows to control access and set time limits to the apps. Alexa is available and can be setup on this tablet. The tablet comes in a kid proof case with a built-in stand. Overall, this is a good starter tablet for toddlers and preschool kids to watch videos, play games and use educational apps.

My kids love it!

My kids have been using it to play educational games and read books. They take it with them everytime they get into the car for long drives. The speed is just right for them and sound quality is very good as well. Very happy overall with this tablet and the 2 year warranty that it comes with. I just wish it can download the YouTube app. It comes with a protector which makes it perfect!!

Great Kids Device!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fire Kids Tablet is perfect for rough and tumble kids. I have it set up so my nieces can use it when they come over, and I don't have to worry about them stumbling onto something not kid-friendly. The color of the case is fun, and the case itself is super sturdy and durable. The built in stand is amazingly sturdy (my nieces are rough with this thing!) There are so many apps available for the Fire tablet now, you really don't miss anything! I love the year of Kids+ that's included, and how easy it is to manage with parental controls. I just miss FaceTime and wish the case was a tad easier to remove to use the OSMO system.

They have parental controls to where you can set what they can access, put time limits on how long they can play, have peace of mind, and not have to look over their shoulders every minute to make sure the content they are looking at is age appropriate. The cover is great for the bumps and drops expected when being handled by a young child. It is very durable and I don't worry too much about the screen breaking. I do wish it had larger storage capabilities since my daughter downloads a lot of stuff. My only complaint is that the battery does not seem to last very long even with minimal playing. Overall, I would recommend this tablet for those that have small children and cannot afford an expensive tablet.

We absolutely love this tablet!

With all the features included and the great sturdy case, it’s a fantastic option for child safe tablet. Amazon kids + the service included for a year free is GREAT. Once our trial has ended I will absolutely be continuing that service. The only con was with the memory card. We have several we aren’t using and tried every one and they won’t work for this tablet. It says I need a “10” and the ones I have won’t work to download additional apps. That’s the only reason I took a star away. I will be purchasing the card, but still disappointed that I need to purchase a new one and can’t reuse one we have here. All of the content that Amazon deems “child safe” has been, so I have no complaints and I haven’t seen or heard anything playing that was inappropriate. That’s a huge relief. This is an excellent kids tablet!

Comfortable case for little hands

It's a little bit squishy and not bulky, so her little hands can hold it comfortably. We haven't had any issues with downloading games, or videos. We haven't experienced any lagging of any kind.

Parent controls not customizable enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fire tablet itself is great. I think it runs well isn't glitchy and the functionality is pretty easy to figure out. It works like any other tablet with apps and such. I will say the screen is pretty small if you're wanting watch something on it through.
For the kids part of this tablet, I do think the case is amazing. The stand works well and the case is very durable and giving for any impact. Talking about the Parent controls is a different story. I do like how difficult it seems to be for a kid to even find the "switch profile" option, I just don't like the parent controls. There's no option to remove all apps, or all books, etc.... So if I want to be able to fully control what my kid sees, I have to manually go in and remove EVERY SINGLE thing. That's a ton of work. Only then could I go in and allow only the books, apps, etc... that I want my kid to read/see. This is a really annoying feature. Parent's should have FULL control, instead, by default, everything is shown and you have to remove everything. The controls should be the opposite where I can only select the things I want my kid to see.
If you want full control as a parent, this is not the app for you. If you don't care what your kids are reading or listening too, than this is a great tablet with a great case. I guess it just depends on your style of parenting.

Great variety of apps but can be slow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The case is bulky and durable and is able to protect the tablet when my 4 year old drops it (even on hard surfaces). Unfortunately, it does not include a screen protector, so if your little one drops a toy directly on the screen there is nothing protecting it.
The variety of games and apps is excellent, however, the tablet noticeably slows down when it is near full or playing certain games.
Overall, a good tablet, but it would need to include a screen protector and faster processor to be a great tablet.
