Wish I would have gotten this sooner!!
I bought this about a month or two ago so far so good it’s been extremely handy and if family are friends drop by, I can give them a code to get in and not have to worry about being around my phone to open the door for them .

Works as advertised
The keypad is handy and provides another way to lock and unlock the door (the phone app being the other way).
Overall I like the compact size of the keypad, but the depth of the unit is about the same as the width, and it might look better if it were only about 1/2 the depth.

Great little addition
I had my doubts, when seeing the size of this keypad. However, after using it now for almost 2 years here in Texas where the heat is extreme, I can say that it is very well-made. It works wonderful and is much faster than pulling out the phone for locking and unlocking.
The only issue I had was that I used the mounting tape instead of screws at first. With our weather that was not a good idea, although it did last almost a year.

Great addition to August Smart Lock
Still early days with keypad, will try to remember to update in 6mo or so. We’ve had the lock for 5+ years now and the keypad makes sharing access much easier. Will also come in handy for our VRBO rentals as some guests struggle with phone apps.

Easy to install
This is a great addition to my August Smart Lock. I can easily add or delete authorized people each with their own code. It relieve me of the need to unlock and lock the door all the time (manually or with the app) and also it allows authorized people to enter without a smart phone. Great product.

Secure backup access
