Love Bosch Dishwasher
We moved into a brand new home that had a GE washer. It was not a good washer for many reasons. So we purchased this Bosch and love it! It holds more dishes, loads more efficiently, does a nice job washing (even on the 1 hour cycle) and the door closes tightly (which the other one did not. So glad we bought this and would definitely recommend Bosch to anyone considering. When it comes to machines, I believe you do get what you pay for, and this is a quality dishwasher.

Definite upgrade from my old dishwasher

Really like it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far has proven a great replacement for our prior Bosch dishwasher that finally gave out after something like 16 years. This one cleans even better, though longer cycle length. Quiet as advertised. Do like the modern connection to phone app, allowing you to monitor and even remotely control. Seems reasonably well made. Very spacious.

Love my Bosch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hated the cheap dishwasher that was in my house when I bought it. So happy when it died. I had a Bosch dishwasher in my other house for 18 YEARS, so I knew what I wanted when I went shopping. I live alone, so I've only been able to use it once so far, but looking forward to using it a lot over the holidays.

Bosch Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first became acquainted with Bosch dishwashers when I moved into a house that had one. For 17 years I happily lived with that dishwasher that always worked, was very quiet, and did such a good job. I particularly liked the 6-compartment utensil basket. Alas, one day my Bosch stopped working and could not be fixed. By this time I am spoiled for any other dishwasher so immediately started looking for another Bosch. This time I upgraded to a 500 series. It is beautiful, even more quiet (I can't tell it is operating except it shines a small red light on the floor), superb cleaning, and the door pops open at the end of the cycle to finish air drying the dishes! It only has a 3 partition basket but even better it has a whole 3rd level drawer to organize all silverware, utensils, serving ware and knives. I love it even more than the old Bosch and only hope it may last as long as the first Bosch.

New dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just completed a complete kitchen renovation and replaced our 4 year old white Bosch DW with a new stainless steel model. We love it, especially the feature that opens the door when the cycle is complete! The top silverware tray does a better job than the basket on the bottom level in my opinion.
By the way, our son loves the old one we removed and installed at his home. Still working great!

Replacement Dishwasher

I love my Boschdishwasher...his name is Harry. It is so easy to use and I love the fact that one of the features is that it opens the door when it is finished...now my husband does not need to ask if the dishes are clean. Best purchase we have made in a while!

Best dishwasher out there.

Very Quiet

I sometimes inadvertently hit the power button when opening/closing the door, but it beeps at me to tell me I've done so. I like the top 3rd rack very much for silverware so I don't take up space with a basket on the bottom rack.

Even better than expected.

Ease of Use: The controls are intuitive and straightforward - no complicated settings to figure out. Loading and operating it is a breeze.
Whisper Quiet: I'm amazed at how quietly this runs. I can barely tell when it's on, which is perfect for our open-concept kitchen.
Superior Cleaning: My dishes, glasses, and utensils come out spotless every time. Even stubborn, dried-on food comes off without pre-rinsing.
Overall, this has exceeded my expectations and makes kitchen cleanup so much easier—great value for the quality and performance.

Best Dishwasher I’ve ever owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher had finally broken completely so we were in the market for a new one. We wanted something that this time would last and CLEAN our dishes. It felt unnecessary to have to nearly wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher with our old one. We did a lot of research before landing on a Bosch. We knew we were going to pay more than we anticipated, but again, we wanted something that will last.
We landed on this model which seemed to be a favorite amongst the ones we were looking at. It did not take long to get it installed and even less to fall in love with it!
One of our biggest complaints being a family of 6, was not having enough room and that the silverware was hit or miss to get clean because we had so much! But not anymore! The 3rd rack is a lifesaver!! ALL of our silverware comes out clean now!
And our pots and pans? They finally fit! No more handwashing them! Then there's the fact that there is just so much room for all of the bowls and plates! It's amazing how much can fit in this dishwasher and still get clean!
One of the nice things about this dishwasher, is that when it says it takes 2 hours, it really takes 2 hours! And the convenience of having the app notify me when it's done is so nice!
Let's also talk about the little things. Like the red light that says it's running. It's easy to see be it daylight or middle of the night. Then there's the fact it will auto open the door!! My dishes always come out DRY now! Finally, how quiet it is. You can have a full conversation at regular volume while it's running!
These things may seem small and ridiculous to some, but trust me, they matter!
Out of all the appliances we have bought over the years, this by far is the best purchase we have ever made.

Great, but with quirks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, we love our Bosch 500 Series DW, but it does have some quirks that we had to get used to (but which don't really rise to the level of complaints).
Positives:
The DW is quiet and seems to do a very nice job of cleaning.
The mobile app works very well. But, really, the utility is in being able to detect if anything goes wrong - does one really need to be able to start one's dishwasher remotely? But at the same time, it's good to be reminded that the rinse agent reservoiir is empty, etc.
It looks good.
Negatives (minor so far).
The control panel on the unit has a confusing delay, when a button is touched. If you are not used to it, you tend to naturally hit another button ... cancelling the action you wanted to take in the first place. That seems like a strange 1980's IoT kind of issue. Can Bosch push an OS update?
For @ 2 out of the first 5 washes, the soap compartment failed to open. But that issue has gone away.
All in all, I would recommend this unit.

BOSCH 500 Dishwasher
I’ve been very happy with this dishwasher after a month of use. It’s quiet, efficient, and cleans dishes thoroughly. I love the third rack for silverware—it’s at a convenient height and reduces bending. The detergent dispenser is well-designed and never gets blocked. While I wish the middle rack had better spacing for glasses and a delay start button on the machine itself, the app offers a good workaround. The auto-dry feature works great, and overall, I’d definitely choose Bosch again.

So quiet and sleek looking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this dishwasher installed to replace a misbehaving older unit. From first use it's very clear that this is a well engineered dishwasher. It both cleans the dishes far beyond what our old one was capable of, and somehow it's also able to dry them almost completely as well. The trays are very different from any other dishwasher I've used before. The way they change and adjust has made it possible to fit items that would never fit in our old washer. I'm very happy with the smart front design as well, as it fits into our suite of appliances perfectly.

Great, efficient, quiet dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch 500 series is well worth the money. A few of the major elements we like include the 3rd rack for extra storage, how absolutely quiet it is (sometimes it's hard to tell it's on - luckily there's the red light indicator, though!), and how effectively it cleans dishes.
I also appreciate how easy it is to adjust the top rack to shift it downward to allow for more space. One thing to be wary of is the clearance of plates and silverware in the bottom rack when you do shift it down.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this dishwasher. It has served us well coming from having a non-functional dishwasher before!
