[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time ever owning a Bosch and I love it. It seems to have so much more room inside from my other dishwasher. It is extremely quiet. If the red light didn't shine on the floor, you'd never know it was running.

Wish I got this sooner!!!!

It cleans so much better than my last one did, and has a light that shows on the floor when it's running so you know when it's running and when it's finished. I plan to purchase a Bosch refrigerator next time I need one, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher stopped cleaning well awhile ago. I wasn't sure of what brand I was going to get as a replacement. A store employee said that the repair people get the least calls for Bosch. So that's what I went with. This is the mid tier range DW, and it's awesome!! Super quiet, cleans incredibly thoroughly. The racks are adjustable, and fits a lot, and the cycles are very quick. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with our 500. I don't know how they measure sound levels but it's not 40db within 10 feet on my meter. Closer to 55 which is still very acceptable but only a bit less noise than the 35yr old Kenmore it replaced. The Normal setting is a great option for minimal energy and water consumption. It does tend to leave some tiny bits of food debris in any pooled water so its only for very lightly soiled items. The controls are touchy with a delay on the power button. I'm almost used to it after a couple weeks of use. The other settings are more robust and leave the items spotless even without a rinse aid. Our local water is pH neutral, slightly soft and extremely clean so your results could vary.
Overall the 500 is great. We'll see how it does over it's lifetime. If it lasts 20 years I'd be very happy. I would definitely recommend a buy on this based on a month of use.

My new Bosch dishwasher

Obviously, the dishes come out clean, but I also appreciate how quiet the machine is, lots of room for items on the 3 racks (top for silverwear and serving pieces), and how much I love the feature where at the end of the cycle, the door opens automatically to allow steam to escape. Wonderful!

2nd Bosch dishwasher

I was so pleased with my prior dishwasher that I felt we had to go with Bosch again. It cleans very well in about half the time of the previous washer and without any discernable noise. What more can you ask?

I also love the auto feature that when the machine has completed the cycle - it opens the door to air dry. This also happens so quietly that I have no idea the cycle has ended. My third and last observation is the red light that illuminates at the bottom of the machine directly to the floor. Because it is so quiet, when walking into the kitchen if you see the red light on floor that indicates that the machine is still on. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this feature. Great product, great price point and looks fabulous.

Awesome Dishwasher

Now when anyone ask me if we are going to use paper plates I tell them "I have a Bosch use the china". Best dishwasher I have ever seen.
