We can set up custom washing and control many functions with our smartphone. I like knowing when it is done so it has a red light that shines on the floor, showing it is working, and a solid blinking red when it is complete. Cleans great and we are glad you chose this model. Besides all sorts of features, it is extremely quite and clean well.

Awesome new features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was different from the hardwired Bosch I replaced with all the utilities connected to the rear of the unit instead of the front. Very quiet and the red "on" light is a great feature. The flatware/lid tray is absolutely brilliant and the two shelves are so diverse and changeable it really shows off the smarts that went into this product.
The no-fingerprint SS front is another great addition.

We recently puchased a Bosch dishwasher for the home we moved to several months ago. It is quiet, nice looking and works well. In our previous home that we built 23 years ago, we installed 2 dishwashers in the kitchen and loved having both at the same time. There were never any left over dirty dishes on the counter. We replaced one dishwasher 2 years ago after 21 years, and the other one was still working when we moved this past December after 23 years. Bosch was the only brand we considered for our current home.

Quiet and Excellent cleaning

The racks are very adjustable with multiple options based on what your load is going to contain. Very pleased with this unit. I look forward to exploring all the settings in the months to come. We run the dishwasher nightly before bedtime with the day's worth of Nalgene water bottles, ceramic plates, glassware, and stainless steel silverware. Every type of item is clean and dry in the morning wheh I unload.

Best dishwasher out there
I have had Bosch, Miele, and Fisher Paykel washers over the years. I love the FP double drawer concept, and the Miele does a great job at a higher price point, but the Bosch 800 is simply the best dishwasher out there for the price, or at any price in my mind. It is whisper quiet and has everything you can possibly need for top-notch washing and drying.

Great Upgrade
