Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher Review

Outstanding Dishwasher
This is the best dishwasher we have ever bought! It is extremely quiet, and washes every dish perfectly and sparkling clean, even pots, and baked-on Corning Ware. The third rack is perfect for making sure silverware is washed perfectly and shiny. With the Crystal Dry option, plastic pieces come out clean and dry. With the app and WIFI connection, it is a cinch to monitor the wash status, and the water and electric usage statistics are nice to see.

No dish pan hands. from
Bosch: I went back for more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is Bosch my second Bosch dishwasher. My new out shines the old one which lasted 15 years and I ran it to death. The new Bosch dishwasher is outstanding; sparkling cleans and dries my dishes and I can put them away immediately after the cycle. It is quiet and I love the red light that indicates it is on. This dishwasher holds a ton of dishes which I appreciate since I seem to dirty everything dish, pan and utensil when I cook. Thank you Bosch!

It is quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say about our new dishwasher... It works. I place dirty dishes in it and start the Auto cylce resulting in clear dishes. I am not one to use the heated drying cycle so I am unable to elaborate on that function or the Crystal Dry cycle. I am getting use to loading. Bosch does have videos on how to load but our bowls are deeper than the ones in the video. I REALLY like the flatware/shallow top dish rack.
The Bosch Smartphone app is so convenient for starting a wash cycle. I have come to bed only to forget to start the cycle.... it is very handy having the app on the smartphone. We have had the machine for close to two months and so far it is working as advertised. I have had one other Bosch dishwasher and this one is soooo much more convienent thanks to the technology. It is quiet - but I typically run it at night so noise was never an issue for me.

Quiet, Sleek, and a Solid Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I love this dishwasher. It’s incredibly quiet and feels like a big upgrade—though to be fair, I didn’t have a dishwasher before, so that could be part of the excitement. I did consider the Benchmark series but ultimately went with this model and still feel like I made a solid choice overall.
I’ve seen some reviews mention concerns about Bosch’s long-term durability compared to older models, so I’ll be keeping an eye on that. For the price, I expected more standout features beyond the quiet operation—but again, I’m still very satisfied.
Plastic items take a bit longer to dry, even with CrystalDry and Jet-Dry, but that’s expected. All in all, a great dishwasher that’s done its job well so far.

We almost thought it wasn't running because of how quiet it is.
We've noticed a decrease in water usage as compared to not using a dishwasher. Time will be the true idicator of quality;

Love our Bosch dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into a new home and left our Bosch dishwasher behind. The new home had a 'nice' dishwasher, but it wasn't a Bosch. We kept saying that when this one dies we'll get what we really want but didn't want to spend the money right then. A couple months later the dishwasher motor died and we bought exactly what we wanted, a new Bosch. We love how well it works and that we got our third rack back. So happy!

Bosch is the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Bosch stainless steel dishwasher. They clean and rinse dishes so well and glasses don't streak. Bosch dishwashers may cost a bit more than other brands. They last and are so quiet. Highly recommend this dishwasher.

I love this Dishwasher
This is my second Bosch dishwasher and it's even better than my first. It's so quiet I can barely hear the washer working, Dishes are clean and shiny. I do wish the utility basket was as long as it was in my old machine. I'm not a big fan of the third shelf for cutlery. But those are minor issues to me. The matching is great overall.

New Bosch 800
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Bosch 800 dishwasher cleans dishes very well. I like the red light when the dishwasher is doing its job. I wish there was a green light for cleaning complete or better yet a notice on the info screen cleaning job is done. It would also be nice to use the app to inquire how much glass rinse is still remaining in the container. The app feature doesn't give that option.

Solid performer and lives up to the Bosch name
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, by far, the best dishwasher purchase I have made to date. The dishes come out extremely clean, without residue or problems. I like getting notified on my phone when the cycle is complete, with the Bosch app. Individual sections can not only be physically adjusted, but you can also adjust the intensity and focus of these sections, within the app settings. I love having 3 drawers within, especially the top one for large spoons and similar items. The whole dishwasher seems to hold 25% more vs our previous product from another brand. It is nearly silent.
My only negative would be the flexibility in the front door/cover, although that doesn't seem to be a problem.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone looking for a great dishwasher.

Does the Job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a very old Bosch dishwasher (Over 15 years), and I am so glad we did. This one is even quieter and does a much better job cleaning silverware and other utensils because it has the third drawer. And there are some little details i like, like the subtle red light that lets you know it is running. I haven't found a very short cycle like my old machine -- a rinse and hold. But it may be there. I am going to look at the manual and some videos. But that is not nearly as important as the great job it does cleaning.

The upper silverware tray is terrific and puts the utensils at the same level as the drawer which is right across from the machine.

Phenomenal, end of review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not normal? I shouldn't be this happy with a dishwasher but here is the honest truth, it prevents me from doing them myself! Not only it it quiet, but it's efficient and it's cavernous. The fact that I can put anything, anywhere without fear of melting, because there is no heating element is fantastic. I love that everything comes out super clean and bone dry. Additionally, the third rack with the drop down sides is so convenient for small odd shaped items. Incredible.

Super Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an OLD Bosch dishwasher with the new 800 series unit.
Because our home is open architecture, kitchen, living and dining rooms, quiet operation is extremely important. While our old unit was super quiet, this new 800 series unit is amazing. I have to check the little red light on the floor to be sure it's running.
The app is great, informing me when the JetDry is low and needs to be refilled, and when I should clean the filter and spray atm nozzles.
This machine is amazing.

Overall great machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved our previous Bosch so when we couldn't get a replacement during 2021's supply chain issues, we settled for a different brand. Had to replace that one in less than 4 years. Back to Bosch and we are very happy with it. Only deducted a star because of the obnoxious beep, and the fact that the shortest rinse is still 60 min. Would love a 30 min quick rinse for when I am canning. Very 1st world problem, I know, but for the higher price point, you want what you want. It does do a great job on the dishes, just can take a long time for a cycle. I think the auto cycle is nearly 2.5 hours.
