[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet, good looking, stainless steel tub, good insulation, the app works well. -0.5 stars for the strong chemical smell after a few washes and for the excessive plastic mold formation that had to be trimmed off (doesn't affect performance). Overall happy with the dishwasher.

Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect dishwasher. QUIET! I always use the Auto setting (recommended), Crystal Dry and both Front & Back Power control and everything comes out perfectly clean and dry. With my old dishwasher I'd always have something that didn't come out clean so I'd soak them in the sink before the diswasher. I don't do that anymore, just knock off excessive food residue and in they go. Very happy with my purchase!

Quiet and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher replaces our old Bosch 800 and a few pluses and minus from that one.
On the Plus side
- Still very quiet appliance
- The bottom shelf washing seems to be a lot better with the extra arm
- The light button on the handle is better to see when running
- Ability to use the app to control the start and timing of the cycle
The not as good
- Only provided a single basket for utensils (I saw this when buying and kept the old double basket)
- The slide outs do not seem to slide as easily - hopefully will get better over time
- Dished fall over when sliding them in
- The top shelf seems to have not cleaned as well as previously. Had to put a few items back for a second round. Never had to do that before

My Dishwasher
This is a magnificient dishwasher overall. The main GREAT things I like about it is that it does an amazing job cleaning. And, is SUPER quiet. The thing that I haven't got used to after 3 months is, loading. The tines are small, gaps are not working for me, but I am still trying to love loading it. Overall.. I'd not want anything else in my kitchen to use.

Quiet Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch 800 Dishwasher is super quiet, and looks great. The silverware top tray is fantastic, beats the bins/buckets. A lot of customizable space for loading dishes and other items.
I would like to see a better rinse agent resevoir (could be a little larger, with a indicator of empty/full, and maybe a little easier to fill).
Also while there is a lot of customizable space, loading is still a bit of a puzzle to get an optimal load.

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 4 year old defective Sa*sung dishwasher with this new Bosch dishwasher. Installation was straight forward and easy. This is a smart dishwasher that can be set, monitored and controlled by the app on your phone. Not sure if the filter needs cleaning or the rinse aid needs refilling? The app will report this and much more to you. Seems very well designed and built. So quiet you can barely hear it running. Does an outstanding job cleaning every dish, glass, container, utensil, etc. that we have used. Pay a little more than the others, but get quality, satisfaction and peace of mind that this dishwasher will deliver the results you expect.

Good dishwasher

Only thing that could be improved is a light on front that let's you know when dishes are clean. I get a notification, but my husband never knows when they are done.

Amazing Bosch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a previous Bosch dishwasher that lasted many years. We loved it, so we checked what current Bosch models were available when we decided to update our dishwasher. We purchased the 800 series and am truly amazed at its performance. Once again, it surpasses our expectations. Truly worth our cost for value.

Works for me

I have a Bosch 800 refirgerator and now a Bosch 800 dishwasher, both supported from a single app. I can start it remotely. If I open the door while it is running to add something to it, then it cancels the program after 4 seconds. Kinda short to add some more dishes. But I can restart it using the app. WIth the app I can easily select what I want and don't have to remember the button presses on the machine itself.

Love this dishwasher!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher lasted for 20 years and finally had to be replaced. I researched and this Bosch model had the best ratings for drying the dishes. I love the app. I love that I can put my dishes away without drying with a towel. The utensil basket could use a remodel. The slots are too big and an extra basket wouldn't hurt. But that's not enough to knock off a star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher because it's probably the best drying dishwasher on the market. However, I do long for the days of old when it had a heating element because I do believe the dishes were their driest then. The dishes come out really clean. I do think some of them retain some scratches sometimes, and I wish there was an option for a shorter cycle that included crystal dry. Also not a fan of the slanted racks - this is one thing Miele does better. I would prefer the control panel was on the front, that there was a light on the 800 model, and that there was an option for a salt dispenser on the 800 model as well. I'm pleased with it overall, and I'd buy another one, I do hope Bosch acknowledges these suggestions for future products though. Overall, still a fantastic dishwasher.

AWESOME...Husband loves it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game changer... my husband loves that he can program it to turn on so he doesn't have to hear it run. But really it doesn't even make any noise. He can program the dishwasher when electricity is cheaper to use.
Inaddition.. he loves that it dries so well. Therefore he helps empties the dishes and everything!! Game changer!!

Solid dishwasher with a few nits
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher looking for a good balance of how well it cleans, noise, and functionality (in that order) and this one delivers, with a few things that could be better, but are not worth knocking off a star.
As far as cleaning goes: great. I put dishes, cutlery, bowls, etc. in there and it does well. The racks are thoughtfully laid out. I we can make use of the space efficiently, and the third rack holding cutlery means we can remove the bulky basket most of the time. This Speed 60 cycle is surprisingly effective.
For quiet, it delivers. The most quiet dishwasher I've ever had. This matters to me because the dishwasher is above a finished basement, which has my office in it. I rarely hear it, and when I do it sounds like a distant storm. It's oddly pleasant, more like white noise than a noisy dishwasher.
For functionality, controls, and app, it's "fine". The controls can be a little fiddly. For example, once you decide on a setting "Speed 60" for example, hit start, but change your mind, you need the dishwasher to go through a full reset which takes a minute. This is ever so slightly more bothersome when you used a delayed start and you want to cancel it and change the settings. It still needs to go through a cancel process. I've learned to just trust "Auto" and "Speed 60" and worry less about specifics.
The app is decent. I like the notifications when the dishwasher is done. Some settings moved entirely to the app, like delay start. This is okay - it works well enough, but the app is just a little slow. Mostly the "Connecting to Dishwasher" part. I would be tempted to use the app more if it was "ready" faster. The app is responsive and such once it is connected. The app is also at least reliable. It always connects, no weird errror messages, so it is at least reliable.
Overall, very happy with the purchase.
