Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of room So far so good. This Cafe 4 Door French Door Refrig replaced a previous Cafe (heated water, ice and water dispenser on door) purchased in 2013. We stuck with Cafe since our other appliances are the same style and handles will match. We opted out of hooking it up to a water line since we buy our ice and like the clean look of no dispenser on the exterior door. We currently fill the autofill pitcher with Brita filtered water. We plan to use the pitcher for juice or other beverages also. Luxurious interior and love the flex frig or freezer drawer. Lots of room overall. We kept the ‘old’ one and had the delivery guys put it in the garage as it still works—we just had some issues of water pooling and freezing under the deli drawer and several service calls. I also like the fact that this new SS finish should only be wiped with microfiber cloths—no SS cleaners allowed.

Removing the ice and water maker in the door has given back much needed additional space. Water canister refills very quickly. Only con is that our ice maker doesn't make the full capacity of the ice tray, I have the push back the ice in the tray for it to recognize to fill it some more. But honestly the configuration (additional shelving compartments and versatility are worth every penny.

The self-filling water dispenser is just the right capacity to fill my coffee maker and since we have bad water pressure where I live, having it always ready and easily dispensed, either by pouring directly from the spigot or removing and pouring, it makes is so convenient and fast. The use of the app to set temps in the various areas is amazing. The fridge will also chime if a door isn't completely closed...amazing bonus. I am so glad that I chose the Cafe. It's so impressive. I'm still trying to get used to the changes in storage capacity of the freezer vs the side by side but overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Finally, the multiple freezer cooling areas, including the fridge/freeezer combo drawer are really convenient. Our best decision was choosing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Refrigerator! We love our new CAFE refrigerator! It looks beautiful inside when you open up the doors and we really like the roominess inside. We have the 2 drawer model and like having the extra room to store all kinds of “stuff”! I highly recommend!

Are gold handles standard on all of the white matte GE Cafe Appliances? I see upgrades for brass, black, etc.
