I my wife had told me she went and visited her church mother who had this chair and told me that I had to see it and sit in it for myself. So, I did. Then it happen. I did not want to get up. I told my wife I had to have it. Now, I do.

It fully reclines (to almost the same height as her bed) which means she's taking naps in it and when it's time to rise and shine the Catnapper virtually lifts her to her feet. She's no longer struggling with getting up and out of her recliner. This was the BEST purchase for her!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's actually a great chair, if... I needed the chair in a hurry and and bought it without being able to see it in the showroom. Chair is okay, but is huge - probably good for men who are larger than me (5-10, 210 lbs) - and I have too much room left over. It is very wide, which meant the delivery people couldn't get it down my hallway to the room I wanted it in. Lesson learned: Be sure to check measurments before purchasing any furniture. On the plus side, the chair looks great and the mechanism works great too. It can stand me up almost completely vertical. On the negative side, the leg rest does not extend our fully horizontally unless you recline the chair fully, so my legs are not comfortable with the back at a forty-five degree angle. I can't fault the chair, the manufacturer, or PCRichards - I just didn't do my homework.
